This is a huge improvement in my opinion, as the lack of shading in the original game made the grass appear flat and two-dimensional. But, there are some issues that need to be fixed; for example, I’ve seen RT shadows appear and disappear at odd periods for no apparent reason. I’d also like it fixed if RT shadows were interactively broken with Nvidia Hairworks.
The Witcher 3’s visuals seem to have gotten a lot better thanks to the game’s enhanced lighting and increased draw distances. It’s simple to get sucked back in and spend hours just exploring the game world for the sake of appreciating its visuals and atmosphere.

You should expect a 45 percent performance boost in a busy Novigrad area when using DX11 instead of DX12, and that’s without RT being on. Hence, DX12 without RT is 54% faster than DX12 with RT enabled. It’s important to highlight that the GPU was significantly underutilized, hence the observed performance differences.
From what we can tell, the game is more CPU-intensive at maximum settings than Microsoft Flight Simulator or Spider-Man Remastered. Even though the CPU load drops dramatically in the countryside, the point is that a Ryzen 5 3600’s inability to keep up with a 12900K coupled with ultra-fast 6400MHz DDR5 is unacceptable.
DX12 and a mysterious under-utilization of the processor, where it seems that one or two threads are more completely busy, but any others aren’t affected to anything like the same degree, are the most major factors contributing to performance issues.
Nvidia DLSS 3 frame creation is the only option to overcome the CPU cap. Although it may appear counterintuitive, The Witcher 3’s frame generation is a game-changer if you have a powerful enough central processing unit (CPU). With DLSS 3, the frame rate is maintained, the frame time variance is reduced, and the latency impact is negligible.
Another thing I want to bring up is that there are other problems with the game. The shader compilation stutter is really frustrating, and I also noticed a stuttering effect on the camera’s panning action. All in all, CD Projekt RED has a long list of fixes to make to the PC version of The Witcher 3 in order to get it ready for the next generation of gaming hardware.
Overall, I have mixed feelings about this new offering. I enjoy the enhancements, but there are several annoyances as well. The game looks fantastic, and the world is more detailed than ever before, but the performance hit from utilizing the new features is really high.
The CPU drain caused by using the DX12 route is intolerable and must be fixed immediately. The most recent hotfix patch did not resolve the underlying issues, thus it’s clear that a deeper dive is needed to get the game in shape.

At Gamescom 2020, BioWare released an official behind-the-scenes teaser clip for Dragon Age 4, confirming the existence of a character named Davrin. Ike Amadi, Davrin’s voice actor, was shown in the teaser recording his lines.

The five companions on the left could be humans or Elves, but the third figure from the left, with its clearly visible round ears, is clearly a human. Potentially a first for the Dragon Age canon, one of the characters is shown carrying what looks like a firearm slung over their shoulder.
Already, with its floating palaces and magical store signs, Tevinter has proven to be more sophisticated than its southern counterpart. That same figure carrying the gunlike weapon appears to be significantly stockier than the rest, suggesting she may be the first female Dwarf friend in the series.
The man on the far right, whose face is obscured by a peculiar green flame, is arguably the most intriguing element of the piece. This individual has all the makings of an Executor. In Inquisition, the Executors were merely hinted at as a mysterious organization standing in for unseen forces on the other side of the ocean.
Their racial makeup, if any, remains unknown. Some Inquisition operatives might vanish depending on the Inquisitor’s decisions, and the Executors might submit a letter to the Inquisitor explaining that the agents left freely to join a better cause. This may indicate that they consist of people of different ethnic backgrounds.
An Executor appears in Dragon Age: Tevinter Nights with their face obscured and their voice described as defying categorization as either male or female or a certain age range. Once their mask is removed, the flames covering their face may represent the same idea. When Will the Sixth Installment of the Elder Scrolls Be Available to Buy?
You shouldn’t bother holding your breath. It’s likely to happen this decade. Probably. Despite being delayed, Starfield is still expected to release in 2023, well ahead of the completion of Elder Scrolls 6.
Pre-production on Elder Scrolls 6 began in June 2022, according to Todd Howard. Hold tight, for this is going to be a protracted struggle. Developer Bethesda believes The Elder Scrolls 6 will be popular for as long as Skyrim was.

The Starfield E3 2021 trailer may have hinted at Elder Scrolls, adding fuel to the fire of curiosity. When viewed from the inside of a spacecraft, a tiny scratch may look like a sketch of a continent.
In addition, it resembles Illiac Bay, which can be found between High Rock and Hammerfell in Tamriel. Small as it is, and possibly meaningless, the shape is nonetheless noticeable. Hammerfell has been mentioned, and Bethesda may have even hinted at it being a potential setting. Possibly a chain reaction of events has begun.
Hammerfell
The New Year’s post by Bethesda in 2020 added Hammerfell as a potential travel location. The phrase mapping the future in the released image has people wondering if it could be a clue about Elder Scrolls 6.
Specifically, many have focused on a candle put directly beneath the word Hammerfell in the blank section of the map to the west of Skyrim, believing that it provides a clue to the image’s meaning. The rocky, dry landscape seen in the first teaser trailer may be indicative of Hammerfell, where the Redguard people reside. This is because the Alik’r Desert in Hammerfell fits this description.
Elsweyr
Visiting Elsweyr is a remote possibility. First of all, it doesn’t appear that often, leaving plenty of opportunity for your own imagination. For another, it’s the original home of the Khajiit, and it could make sense to zero in on one of Skyrim’s most prominent ethnic groups. However, we find this unlikely given that Elsweyr was already explored in a 2019 Elder Scrolls Online expansion.
A Black Marsh or a Valenwood
You shouldn’t go to Black Marsh. It doesn’t resemble the teaser at all. We also find Valenwood highly improbable due to its familiarity with swampland. The teaser could have been deceiving on purpose.
Obviously, it’s possible that we’re returning to a previously explored area. The amount of unexplored land in Tamriel is decreasing as a result of The Elder Scrolls Online. That may encourage TES6 to take a risk and set sail for an unfamiliar continent, like Akavir, where it may meet some hospitable aliens like the Snow Demons of Kamal or the vampire-like snake-like Tsaesci.
Alternatively, it may prompt Bethesda to look back on an earlier province, such as High Rock (again, the most likely candidate).
Where is The Elder Scrolls 6 in its development cycle?
As Todd Howard stated in an interview conducted in June of 2021, it’s good to think of The Elder Scrolls 6 as still being in the design. However, the technology is being evaluated: Will this support the features we intend to implement in that game? Every new game will have its own unique set of tools, therefore the Elder Scrolls 6 will have its own set of enhancements to the Creation Engine 2 for its own needs.
Previous to the release of The Elder Scrolls 6, Howard highlighted the development of the Bethesda Creation Engine. Howard speculated in 2016 that the necessary technology to create Bethesda’s vision for it wasn’t available at the time.
‘That seems like you don’t even have the technology—how long is that going to take?’ I could sit here and explain the game to you, he added, but you wouldn’t believe me. What we have in mind for that game is ambition, and realizing it will take a long time.
Todd Howard mentioned a huge engine rewrite for Starfield in a different interview. It’s evident that a lot of effort is being put up a front on the next generation of RPGs from Bethesda, including Elder Scrolls 6, which will almost probably benefit from the same new engine technology.
For fans to wait for Elder Scrolls 6, Todd Howard said in an interview with IGN just before E3 2019. It will have been almost a decade since the debut of Skyrim before the next single-player adventure in Tamriel is launched.

They wanted to have the freedom to choose what they worked on next, whether it was new IP or an expansion of already existing works.
The Elder Scrolls 6: When Can We Expect More Information?
This won’t happen until well until 2023, when Bethesda rolls out its next major title, Starfield. The Elder Scrolls 6 won’t enter full development until that project is done, so we can probably expect it to launch in the middle of the 2020s.
Bethesda is likely setting up TES6 for a similar sequence to how they revealed Oblivion, Fallout 4, and Skyrim before their launches in relatively near-complete states with relatively short waits leading up to their launches (Oblivion was scheduled for a November 2005 release; it was delayed to March 2006).
The next Elder Scrolls, Hines informed us in 2016, will not be teased along as a sign of quality and as a salve for the production team to construct the game properly rather than wasting resources for vertical slice demos. It’s possible that the brief glimpse of some mountains was the last we’d get of The Elder Scrolls 6 until a significant portion of the game was actually developed.
In an interview with FZ.se, Bethesda’s vice president of marketing Pete Hines addressed the question of why The Elder Scroll 6 was unveiled at E3 given we already know that Starfield will be released first.
