What we do not accept

We do not publish content unrelated to gaming — including generic lifestyle, travel, health, digital marketing, or finance articles. We also do not accept purely promotional content, paid link insertions, AI-generated articles, or content that exists solely to build backlinks.

We do not publish third-party content primarily to take advantage of Game Empress’s search visibility, domain reputation, or ranking signals. Contributor work must serve our readers first and meet the same editorial standards as staff-written content.

Submission Requirements

All submissions are reviewed by our editorial team against the following standards. Articles that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

Minimum length
700 words minimum. Longer articles (1,000–2,000 words) with depth and genuine insight are strongly preferred.
Originality
Content must be 100% original and not published elsewhere, including your own blog or social media. We check all submissions for plagiarism and duplicate content.
AI content
AI-generated or AI-assisted articles are not accepted. We publish human-written content from writers with genuine knowledge and experience.
File format
Submit articles as a Microsoft Word (.docx) file. Include a suggested headline, your author name, a 2–3 sentence author bio, and a featured image (minimum 1200×630px).
Images
You may include screenshots, infographics, GIFs, or images. All images must be either original, properly licensed, or from royalty-free sources. Credit the source where required.
Links
One relevant author link may be included at editorial discretion. Promotional, affiliate, or SEO-driven links are not accepted. Submissions containing excessive outbound links or links to unrelated sites will be rejected.
Exclusivity
Once published on Game Empress, the article must not be republished elsewhere. Republishing after acceptance will result in removal and a permanent contributor ban.

Our Editorial Review Process

Every submission goes through a structured editorial review before publication. We do not auto-publish. Contributor submissions are reviewed under the supervision of Rahis Saifi, Director of Game Empress. Here is what happens after you submit:

Initial screening
We check whether your submission meets the basic requirements: topic relevance, minimum word count, originality, and formatting. Off-topic or clearly promotional submissions are declined at this stage.

Editorial review
A member of our editorial team reads the full article for accuracy, quality, tone, and alignment with our editorial standards. We may request revisions or provide feedback before accepting.

Fact-checking
Key claims, dates, quotes, and statistics are verified against official sources. Inaccurate content will be returned for correction or rejected. See our Fact-Checking Policy for full details.

Editing & formatting
Accepted articles are edited for style, grammar, clarity, and consistency with our voice. Headlines may be updated. We will notify you of any significant changes before publishing.

Publication
Once approved, your article will be published with your byline and author bio within 24–48 hours. You will be notified by email when it goes live.

Contributor Standards and Ethics

Game Empress holds all contributors to the same editorial standards as our in-house team. By submitting content, you agree to the following:

  • ·Accuracy first. All factual claims must be verifiable. Cite official sources, publisher announcements, developer statements, or recognized gaming media where applicable.
  • ·Disclose conflicts of interest. If you have any professional, financial, or personal connection to the game, company, or product you are writing about, disclose it in your submission.
  • ·Respect intellectual property. Do not reproduce copyrighted text, screenshots, or assets without permission or fair use justification. Credit all sources and image owners.
  • ·Label speculation clearly. Opinion, analysis, and unconfirmed information must be framed as such. Do not present rumors or leaks as confirmed facts.
  • ·No undisclosed paid content. Submissions must not be sponsored, paid for, or written on behalf of a company, PR agency, or brand without full disclosure. Undisclosed paid content will be removed and the contributor will be banned.
Editorial independence

Game Empress maintains full editorial control over all published content. We reserve the right to edit, update, add an editor’s note to, or remove any contributor article at any time to maintain accuracy, relevance, and compliance with our editorial standards. What Contributors Receive

Game Empress is a genuine editorial platform, not a paid guest post marketplace. We offer:

Rights and Contributor Agreement

You retain ownership of your original work. By submitting, you grant Flaunt Weekly LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, distribute, and archive your article on GameEmpress.com and its associated channels.
Exclusivity
Once published on Game Empress, the article may not be republished elsewhere in the same or substantially similar form. Republishing after acceptance will result in removal of the article and a permanent contributor ban.
Editorial changes
Game Empress reserves the right to edit, update, add an editor’s note to, or remove your article at any time to maintain accuracy, relevance, tone, and compliance with our editorial standards. Significant edits will be communicated to you where practicable.
Removal
We may remove published articles that are found to be inaccurate, plagiarised, in violation of third-party rights, or no longer consistent with our editorial standards. Removal does not restore rights to republish the content elsewhere.
No compensation
Contributor submissions are unpaid. No monetary compensation, gift, or exchange of value is provided for editorial submissions. Paid partnerships and sponsored content are handled separately through partnerships[at]gameempress.com.
Your warranty

By submitting an article, you confirm that you are the original author, that the content is your own work, that it does not infringe any copyright or third-party right, and that you have the authority to grant the licence described above. Submissions found to violate these warranties will be removed and may be reported to the relevant rights holders.
