Sony said at its June 2022 State of Play event that Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will be available for PC on August 12, 2022. This game was a launch title for the PS5.
The company didn’t say how much the PC version would cost, but like its predecessors, it will be available on Steam and Epic Games Store. Insomniac Games confirmed in a follow-up blog post that Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered: Miles Morales will be available for PC sometime in the fall.
There will probably be a lot more news, at least for spec nerds. The Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered version of the game has all of the downloadable content (DLC), and on the PS5, it had some impressive visual features, like ray tracing.

It goes without saying that the PC version should have the same settings. In the showcase, Sony showed alpha footage, but it looked good for a work in progress.

With the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered for PC, Sony keeps its promise to make the PC a platform that works well with its PlayStation consoles. It joins games like God of War, Days Gone, and Horizon: Zero Dawn, which were only available on PlayStation.

Update, 7 p.m. ET on June 2: In the fall, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered: Miles Morales will also be available for PC. During the State of Play show, this news wasn’t shared. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is developed by Insomniac Studios in partnership with Marvel and was launched as a PS4-exclusive in 2018. The game was remastered in 2020 for the PS5 alongside Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. So, the PC players will be getting the remastered version of the game on August 12.
