A product page for Grand Theft Auto 6 on Amazon Brazil appears to have revealed several gameplay details that Rockstar Games has not officially confirmed.
The listing began attracting attention in late June 2026 after fans noticed that its description went beyond the usual retailer information and mentioned a number of gameplay systems. Since Rockstar and Take-Two have not verified these details, they should still be treated as unconfirmed.
What the Amazon Brazil Listing Revealed
According to reports covering the original listing, Amazon Brazil described a much broader version of Leonida than just Vice City.

Players will reportedly be able to explore beaches, swamps, smaller towns and other areas across Rockstar’s fictional state. This lines up with what Rockstar has already shown, but the retailer’s description went further by mentioning several gameplay mechanics that have not yet been officially detailed.
One of the more interesting claims was that NPCs will have their own routines, with random events and interactive establishments appearing throughout the world.
If accurate, this could make GTA 6’s open world feel more active and unpredictable, similar to the kind of environmental detail Rockstar introduced in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Jason and Lucia Could Work Together During Missions
The Amazon Brazil listing also reportedly mentioned the ability to switch between Jason and Lucia during the story.
Rockstar has already confirmed that Jason and Lucia are GTA 6’s two main protagonists, but the developer has not yet explained exactly how switching between them will work.
The retailer description suggested that players may be able to control both characters and take part in missions where the pair work together.
That would not be surprising given GTA 5’s character-switching system, but until Rockstar shows the mechanic itself, the exact implementation remains unclear.
Social Media May Play a Bigger Role in GTA 6
Another detail that caught attention was the apparent expansion of GTA 6’s in-game social media system.
The listing reportedly said players will be able to use their in-game phone to watch viral videos, follow influencers and discover events happening around Leonida.
Social media has already been a major part of GTA 6’s promotional material. Rockstar’s trailers have featured short-form videos, livestream-style clips and characters with a strong online presence.
If Amazon’s description is accurate, those systems could have a more direct impact on gameplay rather than simply serving as background satire.
Dynamic Weather and Visual Improvements Were Also Mentioned
The Amazon Brazil page reportedly referenced dynamic weather, advanced lighting, more natural character animations and highly detailed environments.
These features would fit with the level of visual quality already shown in GTA 6’s trailers, but Rockstar has not provided a detailed technical breakdown confirming them.
A separate listing from Brazilian retailer KaBuM also reportedly mentioned additional graphical improvements, including ray tracing, better reflections and PS5 Pro enhancements.
Those claims remain unconfirmed as well.
Why the Listing Should Be Treated Carefully
There are several reasons not to treat the Amazon Brazil description as official confirmation.
The extended gameplay details appeared on the Brazilian listing but were not present in Amazon’s US listing at the time. Retail pages can sometimes contain placeholder text, early marketing material or descriptions that have not been approved by the publisher.
The detailed wording has also since disappeared from Amazon Brazil’s current GTA 6 product page.
That does not necessarily mean the information was false, but it does make it difficult to know whether Amazon published official material early or whether the description came from another source.
Rockstar has not publicly confirmed the NPC routines, social media mechanics, random events or the exact character-switching system described by the retailer.
The Claims Still Sound Plausible
What makes the listing interesting is that many of the details fit naturally with Rockstar’s previous games and what has already been shown of GTA 6.
GTA 5 included parody social networks such as Lifeinvader, Bleeter and Snapmatic, while Red Dead Redemption 2 featured detailed NPC behavior and dynamic encounters.
GTA 6’s trailers have also placed a strong emphasis on social media, viral videos and the broader culture of Leonida.
Because of that, the Amazon description does not sound completely out of place. It may simply be offering an early glimpse at systems Rockstar has not yet discussed publicly.
For now, though, the safest approach is to treat the Amazon Brazil details as unconfirmed information rather than official GTA 6 features.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
