The possibility of a Metal Gear Solid 3 remake is in the headlines again. This time, a post from the Hogwarts Legacy composer sparked the speculations. Undoubtedly Hideo Kojima’s greatest accomplishment is the Metal Gear Solid series, one of the greatest gaming franchises ever created. As a result, some of the most enduring game narratives ever were produced, and it helped pioneer the stealth-action genre.
Although Kojima stated that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was meant to be the series’ final installment even before he was fired from Konami, it seems likely that the series would have continued had the publisher not run into so many problems, especially given that they attempted with the disastrous Metal Gear Survive.
Concurrent with the revival of Silent Hill for a significant multi-media comeback, it appears Konami may be trying to revive the series. There have been rumors that a Metal Gear Solid game will be remade for some time now, although there has been no official confirmation of these rumors.
But after Hogwarts Legacy composer J. Scott Rakozy posted a video on his Instagram story with the caption “If you know… you know” and a video of what sounded like a new rendition of the Metal Gear Solid theme, fans are once again getting excited about the idea.

If that weren’t enough, keen-eyed viewers also noticed that a screen above his monitor showed a camera moving through a jungle in a tiny peek. People now believe that this may indicate that the video matches the music, further supporting the idea that a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 is in the works.

Perhaps this is the trailer for something shown at Summer Game Fest the following month. It seems like it’s about time we saw it if the hype is true, as it has been growing for a while. Rakozy looks to be doing a lot of work, but he may be doing it for fun.
