The size of the area isn’t always a good measure of a game’s quality, but there should be plenty of engaging material to keep players engaged. There is a wide variety of things to accomplish in Grand Theft Auto 5, from the significant story objectives to the optional side missions.

The open world of Grand Theft Auto V allows players to spend hours at a time merely cruising around Los Santos. However, tasks provide them with a method of organizing their time when required.

How Many Missions Are There in GTA 5?

The story will conclude when you’ve finished the game’s 69 main story missions. Nonetheless, Grand Theft Auto 5 offers a wide variety of other activities aside from the story. There are optional tasks and activities relating to Franklin, Michael, and Trevor that must be accomplished to get the whole game’s worth of content.

  • Main story missions: 69
  • Strangers and freaks (side missions): 58
  • Hobbies and past-times: 61

What Do Mission Icon Colors Mean in GTA 5?

Because there are three different protagonists in GTA V, the game’s map displays their respective missions in distinct hues.

  • A blue icon indicates missions that Michael can initiate on the map.
  • A green icon on the map indicates missions that Franklin can initiate.
  • An orange icon on the map shows missions that Trevor can initiate.
  • A question mark indicates a Strangers & Freaks optional mission on the map.

Using the Character Wheel to switch between protagonists, you will also be able to view the total number of possible missions for that character.

How to Play All Endings in GTA 5?

Grand Theft Auto V allows you to play through all three endings in a single playthrough, so you may see what each one offers. Once you’ve visited one end, you may play the other two by heading to the Pause Menu, selecting “Game,” then “Replay Mission,” and finally scrolling down to the bottom of the screen.

However, this will not affect your decision at the outset of the game. After completing “The Big Score,” it is recommended that you save your game in a new slot if you are undecided about which ending to choose. Now that you know you can always return to a previously saved game and select a different ending, feel free to try out all three possible outcomes.

Ending C (Deathwish) is the canon ending of the game and should be selected unless you want to be cut off from Michael and Trevor after the story concludes.
