New GTA 6 Leak Shows Vice City Airport, Nighttime Skyline and Fishing — Watch Video

GTA 6 Vice City Airport leak showing Vice City at night

The GTA 6 leaks aren’t slowing down. Cyberleek has now released another gameplay video, and this one takes Jason high above Vice City after dark.

The latest footage, shared on August 23, is being counted as the 10th gameplay video in the current Cyberleek run. It lasts around one minute and 49 seconds and shows Jason flying over Vice City International Airport, with the city’s illuminated skyline stretching out below.

There’s more buried in the clip than a nighttime flight, though. A fishing notification appears while Jason is over the water, more radio content can be heard, and the aerial view gives another sense of just how large Rockstar’s version of Vice City could be.

For anyone following the leaks from the beginning, this is also different from the earlier GTA 6 plane gameplay leak, which showed Jason flying across Vice City during the day.

The footage comes from an unofficial development build and has not been individually confirmed by Rockstar Games. Features seen in leaked builds can still be changed or removed before release.

What the GTA 6 Vice City Airport Leak Actually Shows

Most of the video is surprisingly straightforward: Jason gets into a plane and flies across Vice City at night.

What makes it interesting is everything visible underneath him.

According to RockstarINTEL, the flight passes over Vice City International Airport and other parts of the city. Roads, buildings, traffic and large stretches of the urban area can be seen from the air, with the nighttime lighting making the skyline particularly easy to pick out.

It’s probably tempting to look at a clip like this and start calculating GTA 6’s map size, but that would be getting ahead of what the footage actually tells us.

What we can say is that Vice City looks expansive from the air. What we can’t say from a one-minute-and-49-second development clip is exactly how large the final map will be.

Rockstar has described GTA 6 as taking place across the state of Leonida, with Vice City at the heart of the game, but it has never released a complete official map.

This Isn’t the Plane Footage We Saw Earlier

The distinction matters because Cyberleek has already shown Jason flying.

In the previous aerial leak, Jason took a plane over Vice City during daylight. That clip revealed skyscrapers, highways, bridges, waterways and marinas, while also giving us a much better look at GTA 6’s redesigned radio interface.

It ended in a particularly unusual way, with Jason landing and firing bullets into a wall to spell out LEEK.

We covered that entire sequence in our earlier report on the GTA 6 plane footage and radio menu.

This new video is a separate nighttime flight. Instead of simply repeating what we’ve already seen, it puts the airport more clearly in view and introduces another small gameplay detail that may end up being much more interesting than the plane itself.

GTA 6 Appears to Have Dedicated Fishing Spots

While Jason is flying over water, a notification appears referring to the area as a fishing spot for large Common Snook and tells the player to equip a fishing rod to try catching one.

It’s a tiny message, but it tells us quite a bit.

Rather than fishing simply being an activity players can start anywhere, the wording suggests GTA 6 may have specific fishing locations where particular species can be found.

That would feel familiar to anyone who spent time hunting or fishing in Red Dead Redemption 2, although there’s not enough here to say GTA 6 will use the same type of system.

More importantly, Rockstar itself hasn’t officially announced GTA 6’s fishing mechanics.

So while the prompt is visible in the reported development footage, “GTA 6 has a full Red Dead-style fishing system” would still be speculation.

For now, the safe takeaway is much simpler: this build includes a fishing rod and at least one location identified as a fishing spot for Common Snook.

More GTA 6 Radio Content Can Be Heard

The flight also gives us more of GTA 6’s radio.

That’s becoming a recurring theme with these leaks.

The previous plane footage exposed a redesigned radio menu containing returning Vice City names such as V-Rock and Emotion 98.3, alongside several other apparent stations. It also showed an unexplained “On Demand” option.

The latest video adds more music while Jason flies over the city, although Rockstar still hasn’t published an official soundtrack or complete radio-station list.

That’s an important distinction. Songs and stations appearing in a development build aren’t automatically guaranteed to survive into the November release, particularly when licensed music is involved.

So there’s plenty for fans to pick apart here, but treating every song heard in a leaked clip as part of GTA 6’s final soundtrack would be premature.

Cyberleek Has Been Showing Much More Than the GTA 6 Map

The airport footage is part of a much larger sequence of leaks that began on August 18.

The first GTA 6 Cyberleek footage showed Jason playing basketball, fighting NPCs and apparently reaching a six-star wanted level. It was accompanied by what Cyberleek claimed was a map of Leonida.

That was only the beginning.

Another video later showed Jason driving through Leonida at night, using a taser and getting two apparent options when approaching a locked vehicle: “Clone Key” and “Smash Window.”

That clip also moved into what looked like a story cutscene, something we covered separately in our report on the GTA 6 Taser, car theft and story cutscene leak.

Since then, more videos have continued to appear, largely focusing on Jason and different pieces of the game’s open world.

The latest nighttime airport flight fits that pattern. It doesn’t contain a huge story reveal or a completely new protagonist sequence. Instead, it gives us a clearer look at another part of Vice City and quietly exposes a few more systems running underneath the open world.

Why These GTA 6 Leaks Still Need a Big Asterisk

There’s growing evidence that the broader leak is legitimate, but that doesn’t make every interpretation of the footage correct.

That’s especially important with GTA 6 because fans are analysing individual HUD icons, NPC animations and background objects as if they’re finished features.

They’re not necessarily.

Development builds are exactly that: builds used while a game is still being developed. UI elements can change. Activities can be reworked. Music can disappear. Locations can look different at launch.

The footage is useful for seeing what Rockstar has been testing, but it shouldn’t be treated as a frame-by-frame preview of the final product.

Rockstar has also avoided individually confirming the Cyberleek videos.

Rockstar’s Official GTA 6 Extended Look Is Almost Here

Fans won’t have to rely entirely on leaked footage for much longer.

Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will premiere on August 27 at 3 PM ET, giving the studio an opportunity to show the game on its own terms just days after this run of leaks.

The official GTA 6 website also continues to list November 19, 2026 as the release date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Until then, the GTA 6 Vice City Airport leak gives us another intriguing — if unofficial — look at Rockstar’s new open world.

The airport and nighttime skyline will probably grab the most attention at first, but the Common Snook fishing prompt may ultimately be the more revealing detail. It’s another small sign that GTA 6’s world could be packed with activities that players won’t necessarily discover by simply following the main story.
