One of the most iconic moments in gaming history occurs at the end of the first game when Cal Kestis faces off against Darth Vader. At the end of the story, Cal makes the decision to throw away the Holocron and all of its contents. After that, you ask, “So, where to now?” and the game is over. The second game can take several different paths based on the first game’s story. Cal has been promoted to Jedi Knight status by Cere, and as such, he must begin to investigate his force powers in order to learn how to rein in his Dark Side visions and impulses.
Cere must decide whether to use the force once more and fight the empire as one of the few remaining Jedi or to flee into hiding. From the looks of the two trailers, it appears that Cal and his gang are on the run. After evading Vader, they set out to see all the galaxy has to offer while always looking over their shoulders. A Pau’an wielding one of Cal’s lightsabers is seen in the first teaser trailer.
Since we subsequently see Cal fighting a strange figure who uses a crimson saber with only one blade, this could be a hint that in the sequel, Cal would be limited to using only one blade for most of the game.

The trailer’s biggest surprise is the person with white skin that Cal discovers in the Bacta tank. The man in question has long white hair and doesn’t seem to be connected to any major legacy characters; they are likely original creations for this story.

Jedi: Survivor Will Darth Vader Return?
You can bet that the mighty Sith Lord will send his entire army after the crew now that he knows Cere and Cal survived. A shadowy figure carrying a crimson lightsaber is seen momentarily in the trailer. This individual’s inquisitorial robes and Sith lordly traits make it difficult to identify him or her.

We’ll find out soon enough if the Rule of Two is correct in suggesting that this is not a Sith Lord. Another unsolved mystery involves the individual who was found in the Bacta tank. Who are you? An ally or an adversary?
Since Darth Vader’s existence in the first game, Jedi Fallen Order, was also cleverly kept until after launch, with only a short teaser of his trademark breath sound in the initial video, we haven’t seen any indication that he will be in Jedi Survivor as of yet. Considering the havoc he caused the last time, Cal would do well to avoid a rematch with him.
