Update (October 2026): The leak was accurate. Version 4.1 launched on September 27, 2023, and its login event gave 10 Intertwined Fates, enough for 10 wishes, for seven days of logins. For the sixth anniversary, Version 7.1 (September 23, 2026) again included 10 Intertwined Fates among its rewards. Our original August 2023 report follows, updated with the confirmed details.

Genshin Impact’s third anniversary is approaching, and a new leak suggests players will get a free 10-pull, or 10 wishes at once, to celebrate.

What the leak said

According to a post shared in the Genshin Impact leaks community, Version 4.1 would include a seven-day login event that rewards players with 10 wishes.

What players actually got in 2023

The event was called Bathing in Flowing Moonlight. It was open to players at Adventure Rank 5 or above, and logging in on seven days earned:

  • 10 Intertwined Fates
  • 80,000 Mora
  • 18 Mystic Enhancement Ore
  • 8 Hero’s Wit

Version 4.1 also brought two new five-star characters from Fontaine: Neuvillette, a Hydro catalyst user, and Wriothesley, a Cryo catalyst user. Their banners ran alongside reruns of Hu Tao and Venti.

When was the third anniversary?

Genshin Impact launched on September 28, 2020. Its third anniversary fell on September 28, 2023, a day after Version 4.1 went live.

Three years later: the sixth anniversary rewards

The anniversary update for 2026 was Version 7.1, “A Rekviem for the Underworld”, which went live on September 23, 2026. HoYoverse’s Version 7.1 benefits overview listed these headline rewards:

According to Pocket Tactics, one of those characters comes from the standard banner pool. The other is a limited five-star chosen from a select pool.

Pocket Tactics also reports that the Primogems and Fates come through in-game mail and a login event called Rainbow’s End: Resplendent Starlight.

Version 7.1 also added two new characters, Vesna (Anemo) and Vodyanitsa (Hydro), who headline its first event wishes.
