Dead Island 2
Dead Island 2 will formally be released on April 21, 2023. More pulpy, humorous action, with plenty of zombie killing, naturally, is coming. It takes place in sunny downtown Los Angeles. Dead Island 2 features a stylish cinematic trailer and gameplay clips from Gamescom Opening Night Live.
The game is “all about experimenting with your chosen zombie-killing ways,” including melee, firearms, and more. We received a release date and the original unveiling, so we won’t have to wait too long for the zombie-killing to start.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
April 28, 2023, as the date of release Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the excellent sequel to the excellent Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, features Cal Kestis and BD-1 once more.
There seems to be something very terrible going on in Star Wars town in this sequel, which takes place five years after the events of the first game. Beyond the teaser clip, there are little specifics, but it appears like Cal’s lightsaber has been stolen, and things aren’t looking good for our hidden Jedi.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Release date: May 26, 2023. Rocksteady is carrying on with the Batman: Arkham franchise while veering off into the Suicide Squad universe. With an evil Superman, 1-4 player co-op, and four playable characters, Suicide Squad: Destroy the Justice League is a brand-new game.
They take the form of King Shark, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and Deadshot, each having their own special weaponry and the ability to switch between them at any time.
Street Fighter 6
After a fairly spicy teaser, the release date for Street Fighter 6 has been set for June 2, 2023. There will be three distinct modes available. While Battle Ground is the traditional Street Fighter mode, the new World Tour mode will add an immersive single-player story to the mix. The multiplayer experience is expanded upon with the addition of the Battle Hub.
Diablo 4
Date of Publication: June 6, 2023 At least based on the gameplay shown at E3 2022, Blizzard’s next dungeon crawling action role-playing game Diablo 4 looks dark, scary, and terrifying, which is just what we want.
This looks every bit like a sequel ten years in the making, with five classes accessible at launch including Necromancers, Barbarians, Sorceresses, Rogues, and Druids; and with a loose debut date of 2023, we’re convinced fans of the series are as eager today as they were then. As the debut of Diablo 4 draws nearer, we can expect more and more of this content, which was first formally shown at BlizzCon 2019.
Final Fantasy 16
Final Fantasy 16 will launch exclusively on the PlayStation 5 on June 6, 2023, and it promises to be the year’s must-play role-playing game. To tell a story about a world at war, ancient summons, and strange crystals, FF16 will return to the fantasy roots of the genre and is being produced by Final Fantasy 14 director Naoki Yoshida and directed by Hiroshi Takai.
In Final Fantasy 16, the player will take control of just one main character, guiding them around the environment and into battle alongside a group of artificially intelligent allies.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Ubisoft has announced the name and video for its Avatar game after years of silence. The 2023 release of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will not connect to the events of the films in any way. Playing as a Na’vi, you explore Pandora’s unseen Western Frontier in this first-person action adventure. You’ll have to make do with what you can find as you struggle to stay alive through the RDA’s assault.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
A surprise trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which will launch exclusively on PS5 in 2023, was released during the September 2021 PlayStation showcase. Who could forget meeting another very recognizable face in a sequel that promises to continue both Peter Parker and Miles Morales’ journeys?
Indeed, Venom will play a villainous role in the upcoming Spider-Man stories. Sony and Insomniac announced in a blog post(opens in new tab) that the game will have new suits, abilities, and a deeply human story at its core.
Aliens: Dark Descent
You will lead a squad of Colonial Marines as they battle a Xenomorph infestation on Moon Lethe in Aliens: Dark Descent, due out in 2023. In addition to the titular aliens, you’ll have to battle rogue Weyland-Yutani Company employees and brand-new, never-before-seen horrors in this installment of the Alien saga.
In this strategy game, you must carefully plan your moves, manage your resources, and assess the potential consequences of your actions.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Assassin’s Creed Mirage, expected to be released in 2023, will return the series to its roots in the Egyptian pyramids. After five years of expanding vast landscapes and adding complex action-RPG components, Assassin’s Creed fans might be interested in a more limited adventure.
Mirage will pay tribute to the exploits of Altair and Ezio by emphasizing the same parkour, stealth, and assassinations that made the original Assassin’s Creed so popular.
