Bethesda just released update 1.7.36 for Starfield, and players on PC and Xbox Series X can grab it immediately. This is one of several updates Bethesda has rolled out for Starfield since the game’s release in September, with the last one dropping at the end of last month.
The last Starfield update mainly aimed to solve lingering problems in the open-world game, including fixing bugs and closing a loophole that fans used to get rich fast. Now, there’s a new update available for Starfield, and it brings the game to version 1.7.36.
The latest Starfield 1.7.36 update may not be as huge as the last one, but it brings some important improvements to the game. The standout feature is the new Field-of-View Sliders in the Settings menu, allowing players to adjust their view in both first-person and third-person modes.
This update also enhances stability for Intel Arc GPUs, makes various other performance improvements, and addresses a bug in the Echoes of the Past quest that was causing issues for players trying to progress.
After you download the latest update, Starfield will be smoother to play. Although there are still some bugs to fix, Starfield began in a better condition than many other Bethesda games when they first came out. It’s expected to improve even more in the future.
Apart from fixing bugs and improving performance, Bethesda plans to add exciting new content to Starfield in the future. Although the release details for the DLC are not disclosed yet, Bethesda has confirmed the Shattered Space expansion. This will be Starfield’s first big addition, and there’s at least one more expansion in development.
