Persona 5: The Phanotm X is a brand-new game based on the Persona 5 universe that is set in Tokyo and has a unique plot centered on a new group of Phantom Thieves.

The style and core gameplay of the original game are still present, but the graphics have been updated, and the user interface and presentation have been made to be more user-friendly for smartphone users.

The game will be created, released, and run by Perfect World Games and Black Wings Game Studio. SEGA and ATLUS’ P-Studio is overseeing the development and providing resources.

Although it is being developed as a new game and is based on the world of Persona 5, it is being tailored to local user preferences, trends, and gameplay environments. Shigenori Soejima of the ATLUS art team created the protagonist and his Persona.

The game’s main theme is “desire,” and it tells the tale of students who have come to terms with their “Personas,” who struggle together in a time of “low desire.”

An owl that can communicate with humans, a strange underwater room, a shady old man with a long nose, and a world apart from reality are all connected despite their apparent disparity.

In this game, players will assume the role of students who attend classes during the day and engage in extracurricular activities like playing baseball or watching movies with friends at night.

The other world, which takes the form of palaces with various themes, can be entered by students after school, where they can use their Personas to fight off foes in fast-paced encounters.
