In this update, we fixed a few problems plaguing the Xbox and PC players of Monster Hunter Rise. The patch should make playing Monster Hunter Rise more enjoyable across all platforms and hardware.

Monster Hunter Rise is the next action role-playing game in a series that began on the PlayStation 2 and was initially published for the Switch in March of 2021.

Playing the Monster Hunter games involves venturing into a harsh world and slaying giant creatures to level up and take on even more dangerous adversaries.

Conquering Monster Hunter Rise’s most formidable foes offers a satisfying sense of satisfaction. Due to “errors in the game,” the recently ported Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows versions of Monster Hunter Rise were unstable upon launch, although Capcom has already patched these problems.

The changes prevent Guest members from being kicked from the lobby when they return after a quest, fix occasional framerate drops and audio loss, and decrease the number of times players become trapped on the loading screen.

Despite being a port from the Switch, Monster Hunter Rise was one of January 2023’s most anticipated releases, so it’s encouraging to see Capcom addressing player complaints so quickly.

The fact that Monster Hunter Rise was made available on Xbox Game Pass from the start is also welcome news. The increased visibility of the franchise and the opportunity for new players to experience all that Monster Hunter has to offer makes it in Cap com’s best interest to ensure the game runs smoothly and looks as good as possible.

Originating on PlayStation platforms and making regular appearances on Nintendo hardware over the years, the franchise finally found its way to Xbox systems in 2017 with Monster Hunter World. More work needs to be done to expand the audience.

Positive reviews have been consistently given to Monster Hunter Rise on PlayStation hardware. Most critics agree that the game’s wait was well worth it, and they praise the port’s success even though the game’s setting isn’t as visually stunning as Monster Hunter World.

There may be a long time until the next episode is released. Therefore, it’s essential that the options available now meet expectations.

In any case, the Monster Hunter experience is already challenging enough without dealing with sluggish gameplay. It’s official: Monster Hunter: Rise is now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series platforms.
