In Midnight Fight Express Battle Manual, you can learn and master forty Skills that will greatly increase your combat potential, letting you do things like shocking adversaries, disarming them, and performing finishing moves. However, obtaining all 40 Skill Points required to unlock the game’s Skills requires completing every task.
Since this is not a typical game, you won’t be able to quickly amass a large number of Skill Points and hence become really powerful early on. Instead, you’ll have to earn each Skill as you progress through the game, which can make it difficult to keep track of when you’ll gain access to which ones. To alleviate this, we shall describe each Skill in the game’s six categories to assist you to make better choices.

Midnight Fight Express Battle Manual
In Midnight Fight Express, your melee-focused Skills are called “Fighter Skills,” and they’re what let you pull off combinations, go from enemy to enemy with a deadly hit, and a whole lot more. This Skill Tree also includes the most Skills of any of them, so let’s examine why they’re all so beneficial to unleashing your full potential.
Abilities Labeled And Described
- Combos: Permits the execution of more destructive Combos by combining Light and Heavy Attacks.
- Attacks from a Space Permits you to bridge the distance between you and your target with a forceful lunge from a considerable distance.
- The ability to slide while sprinting and knock aside foes in your path.
- Kick Heavier Objects Permits you to kick larger objects instead of throwing them, increasing their damage.
- Heavy Roll Uppercut Rolling is a great evasion technique because it can be immediately followed up with a crushing uppercut.
- Once you’ve landed a few strikes on an opponent, you can use a chain throw to launch them in whatever direction you choose.
- When your opponent is blocking your attacks, you can stun them by striking them in the crotch with this ability.
- Strike the ground with incredible force, creating a shockwave that damages nearby foes.
- You charge ahead like a freight train, knocking down any opponents in your path so that you can easily finish them off with a series of assaults.
Techniques Of Parrying And Counterattacking
The Parry and Counter Skills are more defensively oriented, allowing you to regain the initiative in an attack and then follow it up with devastating counterattacks that can swing the momentum of a fight in your favor. Even though this Skill Tree doesn’t have as many Skills as the last one, the ones that are here are far more potent, so let’s check them out!
Abilities Labeled And Described
- The ability to launch a counterattack immediately after a successful parry opens up a world of damage and combo possibilities.
- After successfully executing a parry, you are given the choice to retaliate with a kick, giving you a wide range of motion and a significant amount of damage.
- When your opponent parries, you can follow up with a knockout counter and continue your onslaught with ground strikes.
- If your opponent is using a melee weapon, you can parry it even if you don’t have any weapons.
- The ability to disarm your opponent after a successful parry is a significant step up from standard parrying.
- Takeover Counters This helps you steal your opponent’s weapon and increases your parry with melee weapons.
Striking Abilities
You can end combinations with flair and even utilize the surroundings to your advantage if you have a Finisher Skill that allows you to execute lethal attacks on extremely weakened adversaries. The Skills we’re about to discuss are among the game’s best and most helpful.
Abilities Labeled and Described
- Use a powerful finishing technique at the end of a chain of attacks.
- When assaulting a severely injured enemy, an environmental finisher will be performed automatically when you hit them against a wall, railing, or other specified objects.
- The ability to use a finishing move when disarmed.
- The ability to execute a finishing move while holding a melee weapon is granted through the skill set known as “weapon finishers.”
- A finishing technique that can be performed while holding a firearm.
- When an opponent is knocked to the ground, you can kill them with a ground finisher. Great for finishing off combos or following up on knockout blows.
Learning How To Get A Good Grip
The Grapple Skill Tree is also important in Midnight Fight Express since it lets you stay on top of your opponent and deal damage with a slam, a Finisher, or even the environment. If you’re looking to quickly dispatch weaker foes, this is the right branch of the Skill Tree for you.
Abilities Labeled And Described
- You can now physically seize your opponent and deal multiple blows to them.
- To perform a ground slam on an opponent, you must first grip them and then press down with all your might.
- If the enemy’s health is low enough, you can finish them off with a fatal finishing move following a successful grapple.
- Grapple Throw allows you to grab an opponent and pull them around. You can also hurl your foe in any direction using this Skill.
- Using a lightning-fast mount, you unleash a barrage of blows on your foe from above.
- Once you have your opponent in your grasp, you can disarm them and take their weapon.
- The Environmental Kill ability allows you to seize an opponent and then use an environmental effect to kill them.
Firing A Gun: A Back-up Plan
You won’t be able to reach the Secondary Gun Skill Tree until much later in your journey, but once you can, you’ll see how crucial it is. One of our favorite weapons in the game is the revolver because of the huge advantage it provides in combat and its ability to replenish ammunition over time.
Abilities Labeled And Described
- You can now use your secondary weapon to fire standard magnum rounds thanks to the Magnum Bullet ability. Even though it’s only a regular bullet, it does a lot of damage.
- You can now fire an electrified bullet at your foe, briefly immobilizing them by electrocuting them.
- The ability to fire a concentrated ball of tremendous energy that can knock down multiple foes at once is provided by the Power Wave Bullet. Since this Skill causes most foes to be sent flying across the screen, it also disarms them.
- You fire another electrified bullet at your foe, but this one binds them with an electric rope, rendering them immobile for a while.
- The ability to fire a hypnotic bullet at an enemy makes them fight on your side and attack their own allies.
- Dart Mines When you fire a dart at an enemy, it becomes stuck, and then explodes after a short time, dealing massive damage to both the target and any nearby foes.
Competence With A Rope
Although they are unlocked last, the Rope Skills add even more mayhem to Midnight Fight Express’ already chaotic Beat-em-Up. There’s a lot to explore here, from disarming foes at a safe distance to drawing them towards you like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat, so let’s get to it!
Abilities Labeled And Described
- With Rope Grab, you can use your rope gun to yank your foe closer to you.
- You can now use your rope pistol to disarm your adversaries, removing their weapons from them while keeping yourself safely at bay.
- The ability to electrocute an opponent by sending a shock through a rope. If you aim accurately, the shockwave will also affect foes in close proximity to your target.
- Rope Spin The rope encircles the opponent and spins them around with incredible kinetic energy. You can use a well-placed toss to knock out and harm multiple foes at once by launching your target into the vicinity of other adversaries.
- The Rope Knockout entails luring your opponent closer to you before delivering a crushing blow that leaves them out cold.
- You round your foe once more with the rope and leap at them, delivering a devastating blow.
