IGT has a new look. The Las Vegas-based gaming equipment maker used this year’s Global Gaming Expo, the industry’s annual trade show, to show off a new brand identity built around a custom purple “IGT” logo.

The company announced the new identity on September 28, 2026. Its announcement said the brand and latest products would be displayed at booth 4455 during G2E, September 28–October 1.

IGT rolled out the new logo on the expo’s first day and had a full booth on display at The Venetian Expo, Casino.org reported.

Before and after

  • Old logo: a circular orange-and-blue design with a starburst
  • New logo: a custom-designed purple “IGT,” according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which Casino.org described as a wordmark in a vivid purple gradient

IGT said the new brand signals the organization’s transformation and its commitment to operators and players. The company called the look “bold and modern,” a move away from “a typical corporate look,” built on the principles of being “fluid, frictionless and magnetic.”

The promises behind the purple

IGT tied the identity to four commitments: integrated solutions across the casino floor, in-demand games, “expertise in action” and commitment to customer success.

“Our new brand identity signals who we are becoming and how our culture, capabilities and content are propelling us forward,” CEO Hector Fernandez said in the release.

The company said the change positions it to deliver connected player experiences through financial technology and casino systems, along with game content for land-based casinos and online play. Those are the company’s stated aims, not measured results.

One company, two histories

Today’s IGT brings two businesses together. It combines International Game Technology PLC’s Gaming & Digital business with Everi Holdings, according to the company. It is organized into Gaming, Digital and FinTech (financial technology) units and is headquartered in Las Vegas.

The two came together on July 1, 2025, when a buyer owned by funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management acquired Everi and IGT’s Gaming & Digital business at the same time, an SEC filing shows. The purple logo is a fresh look for that combined company more than a year later, not a sign of a new deal.

IGT is not the first big slot maker to change its name or look. Its makeover comes more than four years after rival Scientific Games rebranded as Light & Wonder, Casino.org noted.
