The report reveals that 15 percent of FY23’s net revenues, or $585.55 million, came from Grand Theft Auto titles. We calculated that in Q3 FY23, GTA games produced $191.203 million, or 13.58 percent of total quarterly net revenues.
Take-CFO Two’s Lainie Goldstein admits, our other games were a bit lower than what we had projected, meaning that recurring consumer spending (also known as microtransaction spending) on PC and consoles fell short of business projections.
These funds come from the selling of both Grand Theft Auto V and the more recent GTA trilogy remaster, as well as microtransactions in GTA Online. Keep in mind that these numbers are for net revenues, not net bookings, therefore the true value of GTA Online’s earnings is not shown.
