Even though the big update called Genshin Impact 4.0, “As Light Rain Falls Without Reason,” is happening now, many people are already curious about the next update, Genshin Impact 4.1.
They want to know when it will come out, which characters will be in it, and what banners there will be. This helps players who like the game get the right materials to strengthen their characters and prepare for the new stuff coming soon.
Stay with us as we talk about when Genshin Impact 4.1 will come out, the characters that might be in it (some have been leaked), and the banners that will appear.
Genshin Impact 4.1 Release Date
We don’t know when Genshin Impact 4.1 will come out. But we can guess when it might be released. The game usually updates every 42 days.
If we start counting from August 16, 2023, when the last update (version 4.0) came out, the next update (version 4.1) will probably be out on September 27, 2023. This update will be available for 42 days in two parts, each lasting 21 days.
Genshin Impact 4.1 Characters and Banners
Before the version 4.0 update, leaks revealed new characters and banners in Genshin Impact. These leaks hinted that two new powerful characters would be added with five-star ratings.
But now, Hoyoverse has officially shown us the characters and banners included in the upcoming version 4.1 update.
The upcoming Genshin Impact 4.1 update will bring new characters and banners. Two of them are:
1. Neuvillette: Neuvillette is an upcoming playable Hydro character in Genshin Impact. He is the Chief Justice of Fontaine, one of the seven nations in Teyvat. He is known for his wisdom and intelligence and works closely with the Hydro Archon, Furina.

We don’t know anything about the special four-star characters on the banners of Neuvillette and Wriothesley up to now.
Genshin Impact 4.1 New Enemies
Someone shared information on a Genshin Impact leaks Reddit page about the upcoming 4.1 update. It seems like there will be two new big enemies in the game. The first is like a machine, which can hurt players with attacks that affect an area around them.
In the picture, players will probably have to break the crystals to ensure the boss doesn’t use powerful electrical attacks.

More information came out about the Seneschal of Frost and Seneschal of Wind, who are bad guys in Fontaine. They appear to be like old-fashioned magicians.

Genshin Impact 4.1 Map Leak
Before, we got a little peek at the underwater adventure in the Fontaine game from Leaks. Now, we know more about how big the whole area in the game will be.
If the leaked picture is right, then the land part of Fontaine will be pretty big when they add the new part. But remember, leaks might not be wholly true and things could still change before the game comes out.
