Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Fans Go Crazy Over Fortnite New Skin!

Fortnite New Skin: On Thursday, Fortnite’s Hana skin was introduced by Epic Games. Since the in-game shop turns out multiple skins each day, the debut of a new Fortnite girly is typically not all that noteworthy.

This time, however, is a little different since, as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean protagonist Jolyne Cujoh’s fans of the popular anime and manga series have noted, this “Hana” looks just like her. People are currently moved by the skin and longing for a genuine JoJo collaboration.

The new skin appears to be a direct ripoff of Jolyne, up to the point of being a carbon replica. Hana and Jolyne both have neon yellow hair and are dressed similarly, in crop tops and slacks. In fact, Hana’s top features a strap that attaches to the bottoms, precisely like Jolyne’s creation.

The Hana skin also has a secondary form that turns her into a demon, somewhat resembling Yoshikage Kira’s Stand avatar “Killer Queen” from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. (If you’re new here, Stands are the fictional characters’ manifestations of psychic abilities that resemble demons and are used for combat.)

To maybe steal a character design from a series that has been praised for its aesthetically distinctive character designs requires guts (and, you know, a whole lot of money and a large legal team). Fan responses have been diverse.

Some have made fun of it, modified Hana to look like JoJo, and created memes referencing the allusion. Others were disappointed that there weren’t any official JoJo skins available.

There have been numerous official anime collaborations with the renowned battle royale, including skins for My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball Super, and Naruto. However, it appears that fans will have to make do with Jolyne’s knockoff for the time being.

Developers of Fortnite have a pretty long history of stealing video game concepts, characters, and dances. The developer of the popular mafia game Among Us was given credit for the “Imposters mode” that the game originally had.

Although it seems to have been resolved since the Among Us back bling debuted in Fortnite, this doesn’t provide the business a good track record when reviewing instances of potential copycats.
