Chemical Part 1 Quest Requirements
Before starting the Chemical Part 1 quest, make sure you’re at least level 10. You can find this quest on the Customs map, the second location in the game.
How to Complete the Chemical Part 1 Quest in Escape from Tarkov?
The primary objectives for the “Chemical Part 1” quest are as follows:
- Obtain information about the Deputy Chief’s past life in Customs.
- (Optional) Locate the sleeping place of the former Deputy Chief of Security on Customs.
- Hand over the information to the Skier.
- Obtain items that will help the investigation.
- Hand over the items to the Skier.
To complete the job, you’ll need the Dorm 220 key. Look for it in Scavs’ jackets, pockets, and bags or in filing cabinets. You can also get it from the flea market.
Once you have the key, go to the Customs map and head to the train container near the ZB-1012 extraction point. Check the towers with “1986” written on them across from the train container to collect the key and complete the quest.
Go into the big container, and you’ll see the Dorm 220 key. The folder you’re looking for can be in different spots inside the container. It might be in the left corner next to the mattress, under the pallet next to the mattress, or in between two pallets. Sometimes, it’s under the right brick pallet across from the mattress.
If it’s tricky to grab the folder, lie down and try again. Remember to safely leave the map with the items to finish the quest, like with other tasks.

After completing the quest, players will be rewarded with the following items:
- +4,800 EXP
- Skier Rep +0.04
- 15,000 Roubles
- 15,750 Roubles with Intelligence Center Level 1
- 17,250 Roubles with Intelligence Center Level 2
- 1× MSA ACH TC-2002 MICH Series helmet
