With the WoW Classic Season of Discovery Phase 2 release date of February 8, 2024, rapidly approaching, players are anxious to test out the new challenges and goods.
World of Warcraft Classic retains the allure of the landmark MMO’s peak two decades after its introduction. Season of Discovery, as the name implies, stayed true to the concept of discovery by starting without a preceding Public Test Realm.
Following in the footsteps of the first phase, Season of Discovery Phase 2 will feature even more fresh content. This contains a new level maximum of 40 (up from 25 in Phase 1), a new PvP zone, and a brand-new raid in the gnome capital.
While all these add to the depth of content in WoW Classic, Blizzard Entertainment’s policy change regarding gold-bidding in raids could mark the end for GDKP runs.
WoW Classic Season of Discovery Phase 2 Release Date
The release date for WoW Classic Season of Discovery has been confirmed as February 8, 2024. Like all prior mainline upgrades, it will be a global release, which means you will receive the update regardless of region or server.
In a forum post about the restrictions on GDKP runs in all Season of Discovery raids, Blizzard also revealed the update’s intended launch time, which is 1 p.m. PT on February 8, 2024.
Below are the WoW Classic Season of Discovery Phase 2 start timings for various locations and timezones:
Los Angeles (PT): 1 pm on February 8, 2024
New York (ET): 4 pm on February 8, 2024
UK/London (GMT): 9 pm on February 8, 2024
Paris (CET): 10 pm on February 8, 2024
Dubai (GST): 1 am on Feburary 9, 2024
Delhi (IST): 2:30 am on February 9, 2024
Seoul (KST): 6 am on February 9, 2024
Tokyo (JST): 6 am on February 9, 2024
For returning players, WoW Classic Season of Discovery Phase 2 is a positive step toward making classes more intriguing. Along with a plethora of new runes to discover, including class-specific Skillbooks adds another layer of character specialization.
France ’44 is a single-player, turn-based World War II game created by Absolutely Games. In the days leading up to D-Day, players will issue commands to an elite unit of Allied forces in Nazi-occupied France.
Use extensive RPG features to fine-tune the team and make strategic decisions to secure victory.
Classified France 44 Release Date
The Classified France 44 release date is March 5, 2024, according to the developer, who announced the game’s preorder on the same day. The WWII-themed strategic epic is available for purchase on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles.
— Classified: France ’44 | Pre-order Today! (@PlayClassified) February 6, 2024
Team17, the producer of the battle game Hell Let Loose and the publisher of popular games such as Blasphemous, Trepang2, and Overcooked!, have unveiled Classified France 44, which will be released in May 2023.
Since then, fans have received regular updates, trailers, and gameplay footage, keeping them up to date on the game’s progress.
Absolutely Games was founded in 2019, and Classified France 44 is their debut title. The crew, however, is made up of industry pros with over 25 years of expertise, and they intend to focus solely on the strategy genre with this and future releases.
Classified France 44 Editions and Pre-Orders
The game is available for preorder in three editions, each with unique features. The Deluxe edition, priced at $40, includes both the main game and the first DLC. The $50 Overlord edition includes both the basic game and a complete season pass for all planned DLCs.
The regular edition, priced at $35, is designed for individuals wanting the essential experience. Preorders for any version include access to the Resistance Pack at launch, with content differing depending on the platform.
Steam preorders will receive the “Shadow” and “Ghost” sets, PlayStation 5 will receive the “Blue” and “Cobalt” sets, while Xbox Series X|S will be outfitted with the “Green” and “Forest” sets.
The Classified France 44 Steam demo is currently available for download. If the WWII game demo has piqued your interest, Classified France 44 early access is available by pre-purchasing the Overlord Edition and will open five days early on February 29, 2024.
Classified France 44 Trailer
The gameplay trailer above gives us a clearer understanding of the Classified France 44 plot and how accurate it is to the real story of World War II. It is up to you as the Allied Forces, along with the French Resistance, to ensure that D-Day occurs and the Nazis are defeated.
We also get our first look at some of the distinctive mechanisms that set Classified France 44 apart in the strategy genre. The most intriguing feature, perhaps, is the game’s “every shot counts” mechanism, which means that missed shots – or even shots designed to miss – nevertheless leave an impression, weakening the target’s morale and leaving them vulnerable to flanking.
This impacts both you and your allies, as well as the adversary, therefore be cautious of your opponents’ movements even if you believe you are secure behind cover. The deep dive video following goes into greater detail.
Choosing your fighting squad is equally as crucial as your tactics, and, while we only see three members of the Allied Forces in the video below, your team of up to six warriors will be made up of a wide and engaging cast of people.
Every member of your team should be carefully considered in terms of how they complement one another, as everyone has distinct expertise, such as explosives or close-range shooting.
Now that you know there are only a few weeks until the Classified France 44 release date, it’s time to prepare for the new turn-based strategy game by using the demo and early access to plan your strategy. In your spare time from preparing for battle, be sure to prepare for some of the other highly anticipated forthcoming games for this year and beyond.

Endless replayability – No two runs will be the same, with a broad selection of biomes and randomly created mineshafts, you’ll never know what’s next.
Activision has issued patch notes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 2, which launches today, February 7 at 9 a.m. Pacific / noon Eastern / 5 p.m. UK.
Multiplayer has been updated with new maps, modes, weaponry, and aftermarket items. There’s a new perk (the Ninja Vest), operators, and events. For more information, see IGN’s coverage of what’s coming to Modern Warfare 3 Season 2.
Fans will be particularly interested in the significant balancing modifications included in Season 2. Activision stated in a blog post that changes to ADS (aim down sights), idle sway, and hipfire crosshair sway were prompted by player feedback and internal review, and are intended to improve the precision and responsiveness of aiming, “particularly while using a mouse — although, these changes may be observed regardless of the input device.” Also worth noting are multiplayer-specific health adjustments, such as faster regeneration and a significant melee nerf.

There are so many characters in HoYoverses Honkai Star Rail, and despite having to comb through them all, the majority of them are incredibly popular, including the newer ones that players have yet to draw. One such character is Firefly, a cute girl who has had a difficult existence.
2.0 has numerous features, but one of the most noteworthy is Firefly. After all, her farewell scene has the potential to make a significant impact on many fans while also raising numerous issues. So, who is Firefly, and does she die on the Honkai Star Rail?
Firefly Honkai Star Rail
Firefly Honkai Star Rail
Firefly was announced to fans during the Honkai Star Rail 1.6 stream, although she did not appear in the game until the 2.0 release.
During the update, fans met Firefly during the Sleepless Night quest, where they discovered two goons menacing her and accused her of being a stowaway.
Fortunately, Gallagher intervenes and explains that Firefly cannot be the stowaway, allowing her to speak with the player.
During the talk, she discloses that she is from the Iris family and works as a performer and guide, offering to take players around as a thank you. However, during this meeting, it is revealed that she is a stowaway and an interplanetary refugee.
Shortly after, she confesses that she suffers from Entropy Loss Syndrome, a chronic dissociation of the physical structure that causes them to eventually fade away.
Fortunately, she can cure herself of the sickness and is pursuing the Watchmaker Legacy to do so, which would make her an enemy of the Trailblazer.
Does Firefly die on the Honkai Star Rail?
It’s unclear whether Firefly has completely died in Honkai Star Rail. When you enter the Reverie Dreamscape, you see Death slice Firefly through the chest from behind, which usually means she’s dead.
However, as is the nature of Honkai Star Rail, anything is conceivable, and the Entropy Loss Syndrome she suffers from could have saved her life, especially as it involves the separation of the physical structures.
Nonetheless, it appears she has died in Honkai Star Rail’s 2.0 update, delivering a stunning surprise to players worldwide.
The first patch for Tekken 8 is set to arrive shortly after its debut, and it already includes some nerfs.
Reina, Dragunov, Devil Jin, Leo, Jack, and Jun are being hit in a variety of ways. From limiting their ability to carry combos to making it easier to punish some of their bread-and-butter combos, huge changes are on the way.
It is unclear how much this will impact these characters’ power, but we will update our tier list accordingly.
With Tekken 8 confirmed for EVO 2024, participants will need to quickly adjust to forthcoming balance changes if they want to win the world’s largest fighting game competition.

After years of anticipation, Six Days in Fallujah is finally available for PC via Steam. The publication of this extremely contentious product, developed by Highwire Games and released by Victure, follows a tough route riddled with bankruptcies, studio changes, and other problems.
The game was released on June 22, but many console gamers are wondering whether they will be able to play it.
Unfortunately, players will have to wait a bit longer to enjoy the title, as it is presently only available for the PC platform. Some players who were anticipating its release on their preferred platforms may be disappointed by the delay.
Six Days In Fallujah Release Date PS5
As of now, Six Days in Fallujah is only available for PC. It’s presently in early access on Steam and costs $39.99. However, it is scheduled for release on consoles, including the Xbox One and PS4, in 2024.
Today marks the launch of Six Days into Early Access on Steam!
We thank each of you for your overwhelming excitement and support!
However, the entire, finished version of the game would likely be released rather than early access. However, it appears that console players will have to wait a little longer.
The developer even stated that the Early Access period will last for a little more than a year, implying that the complete release will occur after July 2024.
According to a member of the Six Days in Fallujah support staff, the game is already well into development for console players, and it is scheduled to be launched for PlayStation and Xbox at the same time as the full release. It was also stated that the developers who created Halo for the Xbox are important contributors to this project.
Despite the game’s contentious history, the creators have worked exceedingly hard and reached a key milestone since the title’s release on Steam’s Early Access. While console fans must wait their turn to enjoy the title, it will be exciting to see how the game evolves and establishes itself among its competitors.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon has published its latest update, which includes numerous balancing tweaks and bug fixes. This is the first update to Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon since patch 1.05.
Armored Core 6‘s December update included a ranked matching system, as well as additional frame pieces, weapons, and nameplates. Since its release in August 2023, FromSoftware’s mech-based action game has failed to retain a consistent player base, despite garnering positive feedback from both fans and critics.
It now has just under 2,000 average Steam players in the last 30 days, down from a peak of 156,000 at launch. This is largely because Armored Core 6 is primarily a single-player game, prompting most players to abandon it after completing the PvE content.
However, some fans are hoping that Armored Core 6 can regain some of its fan base by providing solid updates, the most recent of which was just released.
Armored Core 6 patch 1.06 was released on February 5, introducing balance changes to a wide range of weapon units, frame parts, and interior parts. The Viento needle gun and LCB laser cannon have been nerfed, while the WLT FCS and Kasuar reverse joint have received buffs.
Overall, 21 weapon units, 19 frame parts, and 8 interior parts were rebalanced, and the adjustments are expected to have a substantial impact on the current Armored Core 6 meta. Patch 1.06 also fixed several bugs, including tank legs that caused a shorter hit stun and back weapons that fired wrongly after being reloaded.
The update is now available on all platforms, and Armored Core 6 recommends that users apply the latest patch before attempting to play online.
Armored Core 6 is recognized as one of FromSoftware’s best mech games, so the latest patch should inspire players to return. Although Armored Core 6 is largely a single-player PvE game, its PvP multiplayer mode provides a high skill ceiling for players to strive for.
The most recent balance modifications were well appreciated by the community, as they nerfed some of the most annoying meta tools while enhancing rarely used off-meta tools. Fans anticipate that these adjustments will highlight Armored Core 6’s great fighting.

Foamstars is a new 4v4 online party shooter from Square Enix that features battles full of foam. The game is coming to PlayStation Plus Monthly Games on February 6, 2024, and will be available for PS4 and PS5.
Many gamers are wondering if they can play Foamstars with their friends across different consoles. Is Foamstars crossplay? Is it cross-platform? In this article, we will answer these questions and provide you with all the details you need to know.
Is Foamstars Crossplay?
Yes, Foamstars is crossplay capable. However, the game is only being released on two consoles: PS4 and PS5. That means that crossplay is only possible between these platforms. Players on PS4 can play with PS5 players and vice versa.
🫧 Join the foam blasting frenzy! 🫧#FOAMSTARS is available today on PS5 and PS4, as part of your @PlayStation Plus subscription.
However, since the game is not available on any other platform, such as Xbox or PC, that is the limit of the crossplay. You cannot play with Xbox or PC players if the game is not available on those platforms.
Is Foamstars Cross Platform?
Yes, Foamstars is cross-platform. You can bring your profile information and your progression with you across different consoles, as long as you have a PS Plus account. If you upgrade to the newest PlayStation console, your Foamstars achievements will come with you.
Again, this is limited by the fact that Foamstars is only available on PS4 and PS5. You cannot transfer your profile and progression to another platform if the game is not available on that platform.
Will Foamstars Ever Come to Other Platforms?
There is no official confirmation or announcement from Square Enix about bringing Foamstars to other platforms, such as Xbox or PC.
However, some fans hope that Square Enix will consider porting the game to other platforms in the future, as it would expand the player base and the crossplay options. However, for now, it seems that Foamstars will remain a PlayStation-exclusive title.
Conclusion
Foamstars is a fun and exciting party shooter that will appeal to fans of games like Splatoon, Overwatch, and Fall Guys. The game will offer a rich and immersive experience, with stunning graphics, fluid gameplay, and a catchy soundtrack.
However, the game will also have some limitations in terms of crossplay and cross-platform, as it will only be available on PS4 and PS5. In this article, we have told you everything you need to know about Foamstars crossplay and cross-platform and answered some of your questions.

The PlayStation Plus February 2024 monthly game selection, which includes three PS5 and PS4 games joining Essential, has been unveiled.
While the first game, Foamstars, has already been announced, Sony’s subscription service has two more games to fight with, one of which would qualify for the greatest PlayStation Plus games list.
The three new PS Plus monthly games for February 2024 have been announced
They include Foamstars (PS5, PS4), Rollerdrome (PS5, PS4), and Steelrising (PS5)
You can download all three games on Tuesday, February 6, 2024
The PS Plus Essential monthly games for February 2024 are Foamstars, Rollerdrome, and Steelrising. This trio of new titles will be available for download on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, for the PlayStation 5 and PS4.
The games released in January 2024 will be removed from service on Monday, February 5, 2024. If you want to learn more about all three games, I’ve included a summary below.
Foamstars (PS5, PS4)
Foamstars is a PlayStation console-exclusive Splatoon-like shooter from Square Enix that will be available on PlayStation Plus Essential on day one, as previously revealed. You can watch it in action in the attached trailer above.
The game is a loose-looking third-person shooter that aims to become the next eternally popular game. It has vibrant colors and depicts characters slipping around on foam.
I believe we are both thinking the same fairly cynical thoughts about the clip, dear reader, but early assessments from various gaming outlets last year did show promise. In any case, you’ll be able to try it for ‘free’ this month.
Rollerdrome (PS5, PS4)
Rollerdrome, arguably the greatest of the three offers in February 2024, should not be overlooked, depending on how Foamstars performs.
This dinky action game from the maker of OlliOlli is the ideal bit of (literally) on-skate mayhem for weekend pleasure. Seriously, with clean graphics that aren’t just cartoony and slow-mo coming from every crevice, we adore Rollerdrome.
Steelrising (PS5)
Steelrising is strangely similar to Lies of P before the beloved Soulsborne released and swept 2023 up in a horrific blend of puppetry. Steelrising was not well received at launch, with both players and critics dismissing its soulsborne approach.
You’ll discover the same trappings as in Lies of the Past, with strange mechanical animals wandering across Revolutionary France. Heck, the robot protagonist, Aegis, has to try to take them all down while evolving herself into a killing machine.
Created by the developers of creeping success. Greedfall, a colonial RPG with a lot of legs, and Steelrising will put you to the test. As expected, the location is fantastic; nevertheless, you won’t find much else to make the action RPG stand out. So, give it a shot and see whether you can withstand the revolution or if you’ll rust under the pressure.
Mario Kart iconography was widely utilized in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and these ten Mario spinoff titles would make an excellent Mario Kart alternative in The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2.
Nintendo’s Mario franchise is well-known for its numerous spinoff series, with Mario and the gang competing in a variety of sports and games, while side characters embark on their adventures.
The variety of Mario spinoffs means that there is a lot to draw from when scripting The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2, with the sequel perhaps allocating some screen time to these beloved offshoot series.
Illumination and Nintendo’s first feature film partnership was one of the most talked-about films of 2023, with The Super Mario Bros. Movie’s box office triumph demonstrating that the iconic plumber has established himself on the big screen.
Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed, these triumphs have made a sequel all but inevitable, with the climax of the original film even hinting at The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2. Due to the lack of official confirmation, nearly no specifics about the sequel are known, implying that there is still time to fit these ten offshoot games in.
10 Mario Spinoff Games
1. Mario Party
Mario Party
Outside of Mario Kart, the most well-known spinoff of Nintendo’s popular franchise is Mario Party. The Mario Party games established the party video game genre, with players rolling dice to move characters across a board and competing in minigames after each round.
This gaming paradigm could easily be adapted into the plot of The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2, and it also serves as an excellent excuse to reunite Mario and his friends for another big adventure.
2. Yoshi’s Island
Yoshi’s Island
The Yoshi’s Island series of games is a critically acclaimed platformer offshoot that gives the eponymous green dinosaur his spotlight, and the legend of Yoshi’s Island will most certainly be incorporated into The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2.
The post-credits scene in the Super Mario Bros. Movie revealed a Yoshi egg under Brooklyn’s sewers, implying that Yoshi may play a significant role in the sequel. This focus on Yoshi implies that his Yoshi’s Island past will most likely appear in the film, making this spinoff essential to the sequel.
3. Luigi’s Mansion
Luigi’s Mansion
Although it could be a standalone film, including more of Luigi’s Mansion in The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2 would be a terrific idea. The Luigi’s Mansion games have Mario’s frightened brother going on his ghostly adventures, which would be a refreshing change of pace in The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2.
The cameo of King Boo in the initial film paves the way for a more prominent Luigi’s Mansion presence in the film series, which should be expanded in the sequel.
4. Mario Tennis
Mario Tennis
Mario Kart is just one of several Mario sports spinoff games available, with the Mario Tennis series being another popular one. As the title implies, the Mario Tennis games feature Mario characters playing tennis against one another, frequently on Mario-themed courts and using funny power-ups.
Although Mario Tennis is unlikely to feature in The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2, having the characters play a fast match would be a terrific way to pay homage to the iconic series.
5. Mario Golf
Mario Golf
Mario Golf, like Mario Tennis, is a Mario sports series that could be incorporated into a movie sequel. Mario Golf features Mario and his buddies competing in the namesake sport, with the numerous themed courses serving as the series’ centerpiece.
Elaborate golf courses would be a fantastic addition to The Super Mario Bros. Movie’s Mushroom Kingdom, and having Mario, Peach, and the other characters play a round of golf would demonstrate how much the films adore the spinoff series.
6. Super Mario Strikers
Super Mario Strikers
Of all the Mario sports spinoff series, Super Mario Strikers might be the most enjoyable to incorporate into The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2. The stylized soccer game depicts a darker and more violent side of the Mario universe, with characters acting far more aggressively than normal.
This tone shift would be a fun way to distinguish The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2 from its predecessor, while the soccer gameplay will keep the tale mild enough to balance out the dramatic shift in mood.
7. Wario Land
Wario Land
If The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2 wishes to take a break from Mario and Luigi’s adventures, drawing inspiration from the Wario Land series might be a great method to accomplish so.
Wario is one of the most desired new additions to The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2, and including Mario’s yellow-clad opponent is a great concept. The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2 might use the Wario Land games as a backstory, delving into Wario’s exploits away from Mario and the Mushroom Kingdom.
8. Mario vs. Donkey Kong
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
Mario and Donkey Kong have a bit of a rivalry in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and it would be a wonderful way to continue this plot in The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2 by incorporating Mario vs. Donkey Kong gaming.
The Mario vs. Donkey Kong games feature Mario employing little robots to defeat Donkey Kong, and this strange mechanical plot is a clever way to change up their dynamics. The Minis might even play a hostile role in the film, with Mario and friends halting them once they go crazy.
9. Mario & Luigi
Mario & Luigi
Mario & Luigi is a spinoff RPG series centered on the two brothers, and there is a lot to draw from while creating The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2. Mario & Luigi is one of the Mario franchise’s most story-focused spinoffs, which means that the film sequel may pick up on one of these stories, such as Cackletta’s rule, being trapped within Bowser, or venturing inside Luigi’s nightmares.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2 may alternatively just take advantage of the Mario & Luigi franchise’s unique skills, paying tribute to the offshoot RPG series.
10. Paper Mario
Paper Mario
The Paper Mario series is another Mario RPG spinoff that needs to be highlighted in The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2. The Paper Mario franchise, like Mario & Luigi, has plenty of interesting stories that might be adapted, with many of the characters in the film based on Paper Mario games.
While making specific parallels to Paper Mario’s art style could be entertaining, incorporating characters and storylines from Paper Mario would be a far better way to enhance The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2.
Former Blizzard staffers have been working on a new RTS, which has the community enthusiastic about the game’s competitive potential. Here’s what we know so far regarding Stormgate.
Stormgate Release Date
Stormgate will be released in Early Access on Steam in 2024. No precise release date has been confirmed as of yet. It’s a complicated game, so it might take some time, but keep coming back for developments on Esports Illustrated.
Stormgate is a conventional real-time strategy game that focuses on base building, economy management, and unit control. When the game is released, it will include ranked play (1v1 and 3v3), a campaign, co-op, and custom games, all in which you will control your soldiers in an attempt to destroy the opponent base(s).
It might be difficult to get into sophisticated RTS games, but developers hope that Stormgate will be accessible to newer players.
Kevin Lowering, Lead Co-Op Designer, says the skill floor will be decreased. This includes better tutorials, co-op options, and a better user interface. To facilitate control, multiple spells will include an autocast option.
Will There Be a Stormgate Esports Scene?
One of the most common queries raised by RTS game players is whether Stormgate intends to create an esports ecosystem to restore the genre’s competitive aspect.
Senior Esports Manager Trevor Housten said that it is absolutely in the works. The current aim is to develop a 1v1-rated play circuit split into three seasons for a year. There will be a clear path to professional and third-party events.

In addition, HoYoverse has officially shown a number of 5-star and 4-star units to promote new content. This article contains confirmed and speculative banner information for versions 2.0 through 2.6.
Honkai Star Rail Version 2.0 Leaks
Honkai Star Rail Version 2.0 Banner Leaks
Here are Honkai Star Rail Banners for 2.0 and 2.1.
I’m definitely pulling for Black Swan and Archeron, that means I am forced to skip Hanabi (I refuse to call her Sparkle lol). I am definitely sipping for Gallagher but he might be paired with another guy… So depends on 2.2… pic.twitter.com/aSIFCU57Gz
As of writing, the version 2.0 banner details do not count as leaks because HoYoverse has already published them, with the update coming out in less than two days. The following are the characters that will be officially published in the patch:
1st half: Black Swan (Wind/ Nihility) and Imbibitor Lunae (Imaginary/ Destruction) as 5-stars, with Misha (Ice/ Destruction) as a 4-star unit.
2nd half: Sparkle (Quantum/ Harmony) and Jing Yuan (Lightning/ Erudition) as 5-stars.
Black Swan, Sparkle, and Misha will be introduced as new characters. However, the Honkai Star Rail v2.0 can be pre-downloaded to PC, Android, and iOS devices.
The good thing about Star Rail is that many of its prospective characters, particularly from the Penacony region, have already been revealed by HoYoverse. The individuals that created the version 2.1 banners are listed below:
1st half: Acheron (Lightning/ Nihility) will be featured as a 5-star unit.
2nd half: Aventurine (Imaginary/ Preservation) as a 5-star character, with Gallagher (Fire/ Abundance) as a 4-star unit.
The cover art for all Honkai Star Rail v2.1 characters has been officially revealed in the newest drip marketing campaign. Acheron, in particular, is one of the most anticipated 5 stars, as she bears a striking similarity to Raiden Mei, the Herrscher of Thunder from Honkai Impact 3rd.
Here’s a list of leaked characters who are scheduled to be introduced in version 2.2 and later:
Firefly
Robin (Physical/ Harmony)
Boothill (Physical/ Hunt)
Duke Inferno
Akash
Caterina
Constance
Dubra
Many of these characters, including Firefly and Duke Inferno, still have unknown elements and paths. However, because they are all tied to Penacony, there is a good likelihood that they will appear in one of the banners in the v2.6 release.
Firefly and Robin are both scheduled to make their debut in patch 2.2.

As you proceed through a match, you’ll gain Evo that will allow you to move forward in the tracker. When you reach specific places on it, you will be offered two options for how to better your Legend. The final option on this tracker is to achieve the coveted red shield.
Shields have been removed from ground loot and now upgrade alongside your Legend Upgrades, however, you may still take other people’s Shields from Deathboxes using a unique form of Shield Cell.
Crafting Materials have been taken from the entire map, and Replicators are now free for all. Players can only utilize them once per match, but the time required to produce something has increased dramatically. They now primarily contain healing goods.
Breakout’s map rotation will include Stormpoint, Olympus, and World’s Edge. Mixtape has released a new map named ‘Thunderdome’, which pays homage to the classic King’s Canyon.
Also, keep an eye out for a new display celebrating the game’s history at the Apex Museum on World’s Edge, or stop by the lobby to catch up on any lore you missed.
Straight Shot, a new limited-time option, will be available at launch to help you get into the middle of an Apex match much faster. Also, the popular Three Strikes mode will return to Mix Tape later in the season.
Breakout will begin with a complete ranking reset and the return of RP. Matchmaking will no longer be based on your MMR value (Matchmaking Rating), but will instead be determined by your RP.
Also, there is no hard-rank matching; if you are gold, you may receive silver, gold, or play matches. If you queue as a Trio, the matchmaker will match you with the team that has the highest RP value.
The scoring method for collecting RP has also been changed to be more transparent and rewarding for kills, however, shot placement will still be important.
You will receive a ‘Challenger Bonus’ for eliminating anyone with a higher level, and you will not be penalized for mistakenly murdering someone with a lower rank than you.
Also, if you can stay in the top five positions for an extended length of time (known as a streak), you will gain extra RP. The longer you continue your streak, the more RP you will earn. However, Breakout no longer includes tentative matches or promotional trials.
Finally, there are a few additional details to learn about Breakout. Wattson may now stack Pylons again, and a Pylon upgrade allows it to create Arc Stars if broken.
Crypto’s drone deployment and recall transitions are being accelerated, and I learned via the online press briefing that Ash may be receiving a significant improvement or two.
The Digital Threat 1x is no longer compatible with SMGs; instead, it can only be added to shotguns and pistols. The 30-30 Repeater and Hemlock are both nerfed, while the Care Package and Weapon balances have been changed for the season.
The team is also well aware of the issue with Steam Configs and is currently working on solutions. They, naturally, declined to say when these modifications would be implemented but told us that they are working on it.
That’s all for now! Apex Legends: Breakout will be released on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
