Attack on Titan 3 PS5 Release Date: Price, Editions and Pre-Orders

The Attack on Titan 3 PS5 release date is December 10, 2026. Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force confirmed it on August 3, 2026, alongside pre-orders, pricing, and a full run of editions. If you own a PS5 and you’ve been waiting for the trilogy’s finale, the wait now has a hard date on it.

Here’s everything that’s actually confirmed, and the one catch worth knowing before you pre-order.

When Is the Attack on Titan 3 PS5 Release Date?

Attack on Titan 3 launches on PS5 on December 10, 2026. That’s a worldwide release, and it’s locked, not a window or a rumour.

There’s one way to play it early. Buyers of the Digital Deluxe Edition get 72-hour early access, which puts the game in your hands on December 7, 2026, three days ahead of everyone else.

Koei Tecmo also picked its slot carefully. December keeps Attack on Titan 3 clear of the packed September and October release run and out of the way of the year’s heaviest hitters, so it lands in a quieter holiday window where it isn’t fighting for attention.

Attack on Titan 3 Price and Editions on PS5

The Attack on Titan 3 price on PS5 starts at $69.99 / £54.99 / €69.99 for the Standard Edition, available both digitally and as a physical disc. There are three ways to buy it:

Standard Edition. The base game, digital or physical.

Steelbook Launch Edition. A physical-only version with ICONART Steelbook packaging, for collectors who want the game on a shelf rather than a download.

Digital Deluxe Edition. The loaded option. It adds a digital artbook, character customization items, original in-game equipment, a starter item pack, and the 72-hour early access that gets you playing on December 7.

If you care about physical media, the Steelbook is the pick. If you just want in as early as possible, the Digital Deluxe is the only edition with early access attached.

Attack on Titan 3 Pre-Order Bonuses

Pre-orders are live now on PS5. Every pre-order and early purchase comes with cosmetic extras for your custom character:

  • Digital pre-orders get the “Wings of Freedom Earrings” customization item.
  • Anyone buying early, physical or digital, gets the “Wings of Freedom Hoodie” customization item.

There’s also a returning-player reward. If you have save data from Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle on the same PS5, you’ll receive additional in-game bonuses. Koei Tecmo hasn’t detailed exactly what those are yet and says more is coming closer to launch.

What Platforms Is Attack on Titan 3 On?

PS5 isn’t the only home for it. The Attack on Titan 3 release date of December 10 is shared across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. It’s a full simultaneous multi-platform launch.

One small scheduling note if you’re weighing platforms: Switch 2 pre-orders open later than the rest, so the PS5, Xbox, and PC versions are the ones you can lock in today.

What Is Attack on Titan 3 About?

This is the big one for fans. Attack on Titan 3 covers the entire story of Attack on Titan in a single game, from the Scout Regiment’s earliest days all the way through to the series finale. It’s the first time the complete story has been told in video game form.

It’s also the culmination of Omega Force’s action-game trilogy, following Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom and Attack on Titan 2. You play as a custom Scout Regiment soldier, build your own squad, and fight alongside the anime’s core cast through the major conflicts of the story.

Attack on Titan 3 Gameplay: What’s New

The core loop, swinging through the air on omni-directional mobility gear and carving into Titan napes, is back and rebuilt to feel faster and more fluid. On top of that, Omega Force has added a few things the older games didn’t have:

  • Smarter Titans. Enemy Titans now move in more varied and unpredictable ways, so you’re reading each one on the fly instead of running the same takedown every time.
  • Exterior Scouting Missions. A new mode built around expeditions beyond the walls, including outpost construction during missions.
  • An open world to explore between story missions, rather than a purely menu-driven structure.
  • Casual Mode. Simplified controls that let less experienced action players still pull off veteran-level maneuvers, which lowers the barrier if you’re here for the story more than the challenge.

Should PS5 Players Pre-Order Attack on Titan 3?

If you’re a fan of the series, the case is straightforward: this is the complete story in one game, the finale of the trilogy, and pre-ordering nets you free cosmetics and, on Deluxe, three days of early access. Existing Attack on Titan 2 save data on your PS5 sweetens it further.

There is one catch worth knowing before you commit. The game’s animated opening, produced by MAPPA and directed by Arifumi Imai, will not be in the game at launch. Koei Tecmo has confirmed it’s coming later as a free post-launch update. It doesn’t affect the campaign itself, but if that cinematic was a selling point for you, know that day-one buyers won’t have it on December 10.

Beyond that, the usual physical-versus-digital call applies. If you want the disc long term, grab the Steelbook sooner rather than later, since physical print runs for PS5 games are getting harder to count on.

Mark December 10, 2026 (or December 7 if you go Deluxe). Attack on Titan 3 arrives on PS5 as the series’ send-off, telling the whole story for the first time, with pre-orders open now and only the MAPPA opening held back for later. For a finale, it’s landing with almost everything on the table from day one.
