The Blood of Dawnwalker is an upcoming dark fantasy open-world RPG video game from Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco Entertainment. Directed by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, while Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz serves as creative director at Rebel Wolves. Bandai Namco confirmed during the April 28, 2026 Road to Launch event that The Blood of Dawnwalker will release on September 3, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The event also revealed a story trailer, more than 10 minutes of gameplay from the latest PC build, The Blood of Dawnwalker PC Requirements, edition details, and pre-order information.
Developed by Rebel Wolves and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, The Blood of Dawnwalker is a single-player open-world dark fantasy RPG set in 14th-century Europe, in the Carpathian region of Vale Sangora. You play as Coen, a character who is human during the day and a vampire at night. The game is made using Unreal Engine 5 and is being designed as the beginning of a new RPG series.
The developers also shared the full PC system requirements for the game. The biggest highlight is the native 4K Ultra setting, which is very demanding. With this, PC players can better understand the kind of hardware they need for smooth gameplay at 1080p, 1440p and 4K resolutions.
The minimum requirement to run this game is 16GB RAM, which is now standard for modern game titles. Although 8GB is commonly used, today, most players use 16GB or 32GB. Also, for better performance, the game requires an SSD. The official requirements list a 60GB SSD free space across every tier, so gamers should treat SSD storage as required rather than optional.

Universal PC requirements
All listed PC requirements include Windows 10, DirectX 12, 16GB RAM, and 60GB SSD storage. These apply across the listed performance targets, from 1080p Low to 4K Ultra.
Note: Since Microsoft has ended regular support for Windows 10, Windows 11 is still the safer choice for players who want long-term security updates. But the game’s listed PC requirements currently mention Windows 10.
Another important detail is that the listed targets are for native resolution. Rebel Wolves also confirmed support for DLSS and FSR, which should help supported GPUs improve performance beyond the baseline native figures.
Depending on the graphics settings, the game has different system requirements. The 4K Ultra preset clearly targets high-end hardware, while the 1080p Low target should be more accessible for dedicated gaming PCs with GPUs such as the RTX 3050, GTX 1070, RX Vega 56, or Intel Arc A580. For High settings, the game needs 12GB VRAM. This means players should check the memory of their graphics card, not just the GPU name. For example, if your GPU has only 8GB VRAM, it may struggle to deliver the desired gameplay experience at High settings.
Rebel Wolves also confirmed that DLSS and FSR will be supported. These features can help the game run more smoothly and improve frame rates on supported GPUs.
