WWE 2K24 has been rated in Brazil, ahead of the sequel’s official announcement by publisher 2K.

While it’s not surprising that a sequel is in the works, the rating board appears to have revealed the game’s existence ahead of 2K’s marketing plan.
The rating reveals that the wrestling game will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and that it has received a 12+ rating in Brazil owing to “sexual content, legal drugs, and violence”.

Take-Two Interactive and 2K Games are facing a class action lawsuit over the withdrawal of paid in-game currencies from accounts when a game’s online features are turned off.
On November 17th, J.A., a minor, and his mother, acting as his representative and next friend, filed the complaint in federal court in the Northern District of California. The lawsuit names Take-Two and 2K’s annual sports franchises NBA 2K, WWE 2K, and PGA Tour 2K for providing in-game enhancements that require in-game (virtual) revenue. The virtual currency can be purchased using real-world money.
