Xbox Game Pass October 2026: Battlefield 6 Joins Oct. 13 as Clair Obscur Leaves

If Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is still on your Game Pass backlog, you have until Oct. 15 to finish it. Sandfall Interactive’s role-playing game is one of nine titles leaving the service that day, according to Microsoft’s Xbox Wire post of Oct. 7.

The same post lists what’s coming in the first wave of Xbox Game Pass October 2026. The headliner is Battlefield 6, which joins on Oct. 13, along with six games that launch straight into the service on day one.

The October calendar, day by day

Oct. 8 (out now)

• Echo Weaver, a time-loop metroidvania (day one; Ultimate, PC Game Pass)
• Forever Ago, a single-player road-trip adventure (day one; Ultimate, PC Game Pass)
• Neon Abyss 2, a roguelike action platformer (Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass)

Oct. 13

• Battlefield 6 (Ultimate, PC Game Pass)
• Valor Mortis, a first-person action game from the creators of Ghostrunner (day one; Ultimate, PC Game Pass)
• Deep Dish Dungeon, a survival and exploration game with online co-op (day one; Ultimate, PC Game Pass)

Oct. 15

• Bluey’s Happy Snaps, a photo adventure for one or two players (day one; Ultimate, PC Game Pass)
• Chained Beasts, a co-op gladiator roguelike for up to four players (day one; Ultimate, PC Game Pass)

Oct. 16

• Beyond These Stars, a city builder set on the back of a space whale, PC only (day one; Ultimate, PC Game Pass)

Most of this wave needs Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass. Neon Abyss 2 is the only new game that is also on the cheaper Premium tier.

Battlefield 6 comes with EA Play extras

Battlefield 6 first came out on Oct. 10, 2025, and still sells for $69.99 on Steam, which makes it the headline addition of this wave. It comes to Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S, PC and cloud.

EA Play members can also unlock the EA Play Deployment Pack, claim the Season 5 EA Play Pack and earn recurring seasonal rewards. Microsoft notes that Game Pass Ultimate includes EA Play, along with 10% off eligible EA digital purchases.

Clair Obscur, published by Kepler Interactive, first came out in April 2025. Xbox Wire reminds members that they can save on any of these games by buying them before they leave.

A free car for Asphalt Legends players

This month’s in-game perk is for Asphalt Legends, and it covers every Game Pass tier, including Essential. Members can unlock the Ford GT MKII, 250 tokens and 250,000 credits.

The new arrivals land on top of a busy few weeks for the service. Gears of War: E-Day, one of the most anticipated games of fall 2026, and Minecraft Dungeons II are already playable. Our earlier list covers the Game Pass games confirmed for September. For Clair Obscur fans, though, the date that matters is Oct. 15.
