Wutcher Waves, a cross-platform title, has unveiled new cinematics for its forthcoming online RPG. The main character interacts with a floating ethereal-looking creature in the first few scenes before being plunged into an upside-down universe.
The video displays both male and female character selections, which appear to be comparable to popular gacha games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail. The scenes are identical, but they build up the mystery of who the floating lady is and where we’ll wind up.
Wuthering Waves Beta
Wuthering Waves is going to start its next closed beta test on February 19th. The first one took place in April of last year. This one will differ significantly from the last one, most notably in terms of plot modification.

So, if you’ve already played the first beta, things may not look the same. Kuro Game, the developer, has reworked the tale, removing what didn’t work or was judged “unsatisfactory” and making modifications to the flow, animations, and voiceovers.
Wuthering Waves New Characters
Combat has also been shaken up. Adjustments were made to skill effects, battle mechanics, screen shaking, and camera lock-on. Echo skills have also been modified, resulting in smoother performances.
Players will also be introduced to three new Resonators: Jianxin, Lingyang, and Calcharo. New challenges await, including three new monsters, Impermanence Heron, Mech Abomination, and Tempest Mephis, as well as a new phase for Scar.
For those seeking further difficulties, new high-difficulty elites and a game mode dubbed “Tactical Hologram: Calamity” will liven up combat.
Players will be able to immerse themselves more in Wuthering World by exploring the Etheric Sea, Celestial Anomaly, and Retroact Rain. Along with new content, graphics, and in-game visuals have been enhanced.
Wuthering Waves
In case you missed it, Wuthering Waves is a new online Action-RPG set to compete with titles like Genshin Impact. With its Echo System, the hybrid mobile/PC game wants to stand apart.
It enables you to absorb the enemy’s abilities and turn them to your benefit. The Wutrelic System allows players to acquire Resonance power from monsters, which attracts new monsters in turn. Its Pokemon-esque bestiary sounds fascinating.
It also has a unique Concerto Effect in which when characters activate a sequence of skills, the Concerto Energy charges up. Once the meter is full, players can switch characters in the middle of a combination. This should improve the gameplay’s fluidity, intensity, and tempo.
The story takes place on a post-apocalyptic planet devastated by a bizarre occurrence known as the Calament. I’m playing as a Rover, a creature who wakes up in a new environment with little recollection of their previous life.
You eventually join forces with the Resonators, people capable of fighting back against the monsters that emerged during the Calament.
Wuthering Waves is set to come in 2024 for iOS, Android, and PC, featuring cross-play.
