World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Gameplay
The game’s main location, the Dragon Isles, is split up into five distinct regions. There are four major regions: the Waking Shores, the Ohn’ahran Plains, the Azure Span, and Thaldraszus; the neutral city of Valdrakken in Thaldraszus serves as a central hub for all four (similarly to Oribos in Shadowlands). Forbidden Reach, the fifth zone, is where the Dracthyr race originates.
After being nerfed in Shadowlands, the level maximum will be raised in Dragonflight to 70. The interface and skill tree systems will both be updated in Dragonflight, with the latter now featuring two distinct paths.

Dragonflight will introduce the Dracthyr as a new playable race and the Evoker as a new class. It’s both true and true: only Dracthyr can play as Evokers. With their mail armor, Evokers can focus on either dealing or healing ranged damage (called “Devastation” or “Preservation,” respectively).
In the same way that the Pandaren of Mists of Pandaria can choose between the Alliance and the Horde, so too can the Dracthyr. Dracthyr Evokers, who begin play at level 58 and have their own starting area, is also considered a hero class.
The game’s professional system will also be updated in Dragonflight, allowing for the placement of work orders to commission the construction of objects.
Dragon Riding is a new addition to the game that will allow players to breed and personalize a dragon to use in the game’s new momentum-based flight system, which is activated by using aerial skills. In this edition, players won’t have to wait until they reach the max level to take to the skies.
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Plot
The Dragon Isles, the origin of the Dragon Aspects and all dragons, has been concealed from Azeroth for the past ten thousand years owing to the War of the Ancients. Dragon-like warriors called the Dracthyr emerged from the hibernation of twenty thousand years in a region of the Isle called the Forbidden Reach.

Confused by their predicament, they eventually learn that their lord Neltharion (Deathwing) locked them up because he feared the power they could wield if they weren’t under his command. While trying to get their bearings, the Dracthyr are attacked by primitive proto-dragons with an ax to grind with the Aspects.
Raszageth the Storm-Eater, leader of the Primalists, was locked away by Neltharion as he succumbed to the taint of N’zoth millennia ago, but is released by his followers in the succeeding wars. Dracthyr, bereft of their Black Dragonflight leader, join forces with the Horde and Alliance to avenge their people and secure their place in Azeroth.
