Witchfire Release Date, Early Access, Gameplay, and Trailer

Witchfire is a new first-person shooter video game where you get to be a witch hunter in a world of magic and olden times. Your job is to find a famous witch who lives by the Black Sea, and the church asked you to do it.

Witchfire Release Date

Witchfire will become available for early testing on September 20, 2023. During this time, the game may change and improve based on feedback from players. This testing period will last for about 12 to 16 months.

Witchfire will first come out only on PC through the Epic Games Store, but it’s not the final version yet. The people making the game, The Astronauts, have said on their FAQ page that it will eventually be available on other systems too, but they haven’t said when or which systems exactly.

Witchfire is a video game where you play as a witch hunter. This hunter, called a ‘Preyer,’ has special powers from forbidden magic to help them hunt down a witch in a dark fantasy world.

The witch you’re after has something very important that could help in a war against other witches. The problem is, that this witch is protected by a ghost army that’s really hard to beat.

As a Preyer, you can use both magic and weapons to fight. When you combine them, you become even stronger and can do some cool things in the game.

Witchfire Combining Weapons and Spells

In the gameplay trailer, we saw earlier this year, they showed us that using different weapons together will be super important in the game. At first, the weapons are just regular tools, but they have some secret magic inside them that only special hunters can use.

Each weapon has its own special powers, and you can unlock these powers as you get better with the weapon. So, the more you use a weapon, the stronger it becomes.

For example, a witch hunter used a spell recently. It made a ghostly bell appear above their enemies. When they shot it, the bell exploded and stunned all the nearby enemies in a big area.
