The game Throne & Liberty, which many people were excited about, is having big problems after being tested in Korea. People who check games point out that the fighting and battles in the game aren’t as good as expected, and there are many automatic playing features also causing worries.
Because of these issues, the game might not come out as expected. A news website from South Korea called Sedaily said that this could create a domino effect, leading to the game being delayed.
Before, the game was supposed to come out between July and September 2023. But now, it seems like the game won’t be ready until October at the earliest.
NCSOFT, the company that makes the game, might be delaying its release, although they haven’t officially confirmed it yet. Trustworthy sources think this delay could hurt the company’s finances.
Hana Securities, an essential organization in South Korea, has lowered the expected price of NCSOFT’s stock because of this possible delay. The worries are more than just about when the game will come out and how much the company’s shares cost.
The game seems to have some problems with its design that could make it hard to make money from it. This might also make some players stop playing.
An analyst named Yeji Yoon talked about this and said,
“In consideration of TL’s feedback on domestic CBT and CBT’s global progress, we have changed our expected release date from the end of the third quarter to the fourth quarter.”
According to the early test version, experts noticed that Throne & Liberty’s money-making plan had changed significantly. They now charge players less than other Lineage games you can play now.
Even though they made this change, they still kept the feature where the game plays itself sometimes, which is common in mobile games. The experts think that if they make the main story better, create interesting dungeons, and improve the group raid parts of the game, it might fix the things that aren’t so great about the game.
They’re guessing these changes could bring in more players than the current Lineage games, despite some problems in the early version they tested.
