The Open Beta Version of Multiversus is Now Available: The MultiVersus open beta has been released by Warner Bros. Games.
While an ‘early access’ version of the beta went live last week for selected players, it’s now open to all users in the Americas, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
Complete cross-platform play is available in the MultiVersus open beta, which is available for download on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.

There are a total of 17 playable characters, 9 playable maps, and 8 game modes available at the start of the MultiVersus open beta.
Free-to-play games like MultiVersus don’t require online gaming subscriptions like PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold, thus anyone can play them.
In-game purchases are completely discretionary during the open beta. All data and purchases made during the beta phase will be preserved until the final release.

The open beta will “continue to get updated with new characters, maps, seasonal content, and more in the months ahead,” so any “final” release may just be an update to the existing program since no end date has been announced.
