What is the release date for The First Descendant? Nexon is releasing a new looter shooter, and if the opening hours of its crossplay open beta test are any indication, the company looks to have struck gold once more.
In The First Descendant, you select one of several future Descendants to face a succession of terrible foes.
Even though The First Descendant characters have unique powers, this is a looter shooter, therefore randomly generated weaponry helps to level the playing field. Read on for additional information about the action game, including a possible complete release date.
The First Descendant Release Date PS5
The release date for First Descendant is set for Summer 2024. The timeframe was disclosed during The Game Awards 2023 when a new teaser was released.
Games releasing on PS5 with a 2024 window but no dates yet:
– Silent Hill 2 Remake
– Stellar Blade

– The First Descendant
– Visions of Mana
– Flintlock: Siege of Dawn

..to name a few. What else are we expecting to release?

While Nexon’s first aim is to release the game as soon as it is bug-free and ready to play, the game release timeline must be considered. If there is a major AAA game on the horizon, Nexon will not want to release The First Descendant anywhere near it.
We expected The First Descendant to premiere a few months after the open beta, but it looks like Nexon has departed from its regular release schedule. MapleStory Evolution was published only one month after a closed beta test.
Meanwhile, KartRider Drift launched a crossplay beta in August 2022, only to be published four months later.
The First Descendant Trailers
Bunny, who is already everyone’s favorite Descendant, is a dynamic character – and we mean it literally. Bunny can generate energy, as seen by her debut clip, and we’re confident she’ll be the quickest playable character as well. We’re confident she’ll ignite something in the game’s fandom.
If Bunny is too energetic for you, Sharen may be a better fit. Her trailer conveys a much more dismal tone, beginning with the Descendant’s limbless body linked up to some type of machine, with her voiceover saying, “If there were a God, he wouldn’t have left me like this.” Oof.
If she can channel even half of her grief into fighting, this sneaky assassin will undoubtedly be an excellent Descendant pick.
A new trailer debuted at The Game Awards in 2023, depicting the mysterious land and revealing an apparent bond between the Descendant and numerous individuals until she turns on them with blue lazers.
A gigantic turtle-like monster is also featured, which might be an entertaining challenge in the future multiplayer game. This clip also revealed the release window for Summer 2024.
