Take-Two is getting ready to shut down its Seattle office this summer. They filed a notice in Washington State saying that the office would close and about 70 workers would lose their jobs.
The closure and job cuts are set to start on June 28, 2024. We’re not sure if any other offices are affected.
Take-Two hasn’t given many details about this, but they did say they’re trying to make their business more efficient and cut costs. They’re eliminating some projects and reorganizing their company structure, which means some people will lose their jobs.
Last month, Take-Two said they would lay off about 5% of all their employees by the end of the year. This is the third time since February 2023 that they’ve announced cost-cutting plans.
