Super Mario RPG Story
The Mushroom Kingdom is attacked by the Smithy Gang, a collection of sentient weaponry from another dimension, in Super Mario RPG. The Smithy Gang smashes the wish-granting Star Road into seven pieces when crash-landing at Boswer’s Keep. This is where you come in, chasing the Smithy Gang out of the kingdom while collecting star pieces to restore Star Road.
Super Mario RPG has five playable characters: Mario, Bowser, Peach, Geno, and Mallow, the latter two of which are original Square characters.
The remake will keep a great meta joke from the original: the optional boss, Culex, who appeared as a 2D sprite in the original.
