Rashid is a Middle Eastern fighter who debuted in Street Fighter V. He is a cheerful and friendly character who loves technology and adventure. He uses parkour and wind-based attacks to overwhelm his opponents with speed and mobility. He is also the friend and ally of Azam, the butler of M. Bison’s former henchman F.A.N.G.
When Will Rashid Be Available in Street Fighter 6?
Rashid will be available as a downloadable content character for Street Fighter 6 on July 24, 2023. He will be unlocked for the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or Year 1 Character Pass owners. Players can also try out Rashid for free for one hour with one Rental Fighter ticket, obtainable via the in-game Fighting Pass.

What Are Rashid’s Moves?
Rashid has a variety of moves that utilize his agility and wind power. Some of his new and classic moves are:
Arabian Cyclone: A new special move that performs a spinning kick and conjures up a whirlwind; can be used as a standalone blow or transitioned into Rolling Assault or Wing Stroke.
Arabian Skyhigh: A new double jump move that keeps opponents guessing where Rashid will land from the air.
Super Rashid Kick: Level 1 Super Art that unloads a devastating kick while soaring forward and up through the air.
Ysaar: Previously Rashid’s V-Trigger moves in Street Fighter V, this Level 2 Super Art summons a slow-moving whirlwind projectile that can be used to pressure opponents.
Altair: Rashid’s Level 3 Super Art calls forth a storm that lifts opponents before he rains down on them with a monsoon of powerful blows.
How Does He Fit in the Game?
Rashid is the 19th playable character in Street Fighter 6 and the first DLC character to join the roster. He will appear in all three game modes: World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub. In World Tour, players can meet Rashid in the story mode, learn his moves, discover his background, and increase their bond with him.
In Fighting Ground, players can use Rashid in online and offline matches and in training mode. In Battle Hub, players can obtain Rashid-related gear, emotes, and more through the “Rashid Arrives!” Fighting Pass.

Rashid’s Double Jump
Rashid’s double jump is one of his new moves in Street Fighter 6, which allows him to perform a second jump in mid-air. This move can confuse and surprise opponents and avoid attacks or extend combos. Rashid’s double jump is called Arabian Skyhigh, part of his parkour and wind-based fighting style.
