Red Dead Redemption 2’s use of modern cars is both disturbing and intriguing.
God bless moderators. A few mods can dramatically transform a game and, in rare cases, create entirely new games. Since Rockstar Games declined to add much new material to Red Dead Redemption 2, modders have mostly been responsible for updating and improving the Western with fresh additions and improvements.
One such change is reportedly the closest thing we’ll get to playing GTA VI before it comes out next year, and it’s essentially the standard Red Dead Redemption 2 game with working automobiles.
Just mod vehicles into RDR 2 and that’s a GTA 6 prototype right there

I’m sure I don’t need to explain how incredibly cursed this is. Watching Arthur Morgan drift over the desert in a sports car should not be possible, but it also kind of works. PsychologicalMight26, the Reddit member who demonstrated this monstrosity, boldly claimed: “Just mod vehicles into Red Dead Redemption 2 and that’s a GTA VI prototype right there.”
There will be more to Rockstar’s future game than that, but they are not completely wrong. Red Dead Redemption was a significant upgrade over GTA V in terms of open-world size, detail, and other graphical upgrades. According to the latest clip, GTA VI will be another step up in quality, with a world the size of a US state and the most powerful AI ever seen in a video game.
The game is planned to be released on an unspecified date in 2025, and clearly, player desperation has reached such a point that they aren’t putting modern technology into Red Dead Redemption 2 merely to get a sense of what GTA VI will be like to play.
Unfortunately, players cannot modify contemporary medicine to save Arthur after the game.
