Striker and Sentry Coming in Operation New Blood
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’s Recruit will be changed with the new update called Operation New Blood. Players can now use the Recruit as Striker (attacker) and Sentry (defender), each with two gadgets. Their guns have also been completely updated.
Starting in Year 9 Season 2, Striker and Sentry will have access to all the gadgets in the game and can mix and match them. The only rule is they can’t carry two of the same gadget.
For example, Sentry can’t have two C4s and Striker can’t have six stun grenades. This change gives players many new options, especially for Striker, who can now use gadgets like hard breaching charges and Impact EMPs.
Tips for Playing Striker in Rainbow Six Siege
Even though Striker is still a recruit, they are a versatile attacker. Here are some combinations you can use to make the most of Striker:
Hard Breaching Charges and Impact EMPs:
Using Hard Breaching Charges with Impact EMPs is a great combination. This allows Striker to disable electrified walls and hatches and then destroy them with the hard breaching charge. For example, Striker can be very effective against Kaid’s Electroclaws on Clubhouse’s Kitchen and Bar hatches.
Claymores and Breaching Charges:
Claymores can protect Striker while placing charges. This is especially useful on maps like Bank or Kafe, where Claymores are important for safety.
Stun Grenades and Smoke Grenades:
Using two types of grenades together is a good strategy. Striker can use these grenades to neutralize Jäger’s ADSs and Wamai’s disks, making it easier to attack.
