Project Mugen Gameplay

The trailer shown at Gamescom gave us a look at a big city in a video game. Players can freely move around in this city, like walking in a real city. They can also fight against bad guys on the rooftops.

The way characters move in the Spider-Man games by Insomniac is also in this game. They swing from tall buildings and walk on walls. At the end of the video, players fight a really big enemy.

This enemy makes meteors fall from the sky, thinking people’s wishes will come true if they see these falling stars. The game also has different ways to get around, like jumping over obstacles, swinging, climbing walls, and driving vehicles.

Project Mugen Story

Project Mugen is a video game set in a city that’s a lot like Earth. In this game, things people talk about as legends, like supernatural stuff, can happen. You play as someone called an “Esper,” who is special and has powers.

Your job is to go around the city, which is colorful and lively, and deal with strange things happening because of supernatural stuff. You’ll have friends in the game with special powers, and you’ll work together to save the world from all the chaos and danger.

While you do this, you’ll also try to remember things you forgot and figure out how to rescue everyone. In the game, you can explore the city, check out the cool stuff happening at night, and relax in the parks.

You’ll fight with other characters, using things around you as weapons. You can even climb tall buildings, ride the subway, and zip around the city fast.

Is Project Mugen a Gacha Game?

It’s unclear whether Project Mugen is a gacha game or not. However, given that it appears similar to Genshin Impact and other games featuring gacha mechanics, it may be.

All the characters are shown and named on the website, but the website doesn’t tell us more about them, except for some of the things they can do, which we saw in the game’s video. We don’t know yet if we can get those characters for free when the game starts or if we have to do something special to get them.

The creator will probably have seasons because the game will be free. These seasons will have passes that players can get. These passes will give players different things. In this kind of game, the things players might want to buy the most are characters.

This is because the game is meant to be played alone, so selling different looks for characters might not be as interesting to players. We don’t know if we can get the characters we want in Genshin Impact using the Pity system.

Even though there’s a chance involved in getting the characters we like, the game ensures that after trying a certain number of times, we will get that character. This way, even with bad luck, the game won’t make us spend money endlessly without giving us anything in return.

Project Mugen Characters

The game’s official website confirms there will be five characters when the game starts. Here’s the list:

1. Taffy: She fights up close with a hammer.

2. Bansy: She attacks from far away with a weapon like Splatoon’s.

3. Alan: He also attacks from a distance, using a yo-yo-like weapon.

4. Mechanika: We don’t know how she fights yet.

5. Dila: She smashes her opponents using a big sword.

Even though the developer only confirmed five characters you could play, the trailer showed that there would be even more characters in the future.
