Pragmata All Weapons: Where to Find All 15 Weapons

Update (October 2026): The 15 weapons and locations below still apply, because neither of the two updates Capcom has announced on Steam since launch mentions weapon changes. The June title update added Hugh’s Scribble Suit and eased the Stand or Die training simulation. The September update added a free Mega Man Pack of outfits.

Pragmata, Capcom’s sci-fi action game, launched on April 17, 2026, on PS5, PC, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 version arrived on April 24 in Japan and other parts of Asia.

The key thing to know about weapons: only Primary weapons keep their ammo topped up and stay with you permanently. Everything else is limited-use, so each unlock matters.

Below are all 15 standard weapons, where to find them, and which ones are easiest to miss.

How do weapons work in Pragmata?

Hugh’s loadout is built around four weapon types:

Weapon typeWhat it does
PrimaryPermanent weapon with self-recharging ammo
AttackLimited-use damage weapon
TacticalLimited-use control or hacking support weapon
DefenseLimited-use survival or space-making tool

Your Primary weapon is the base of every loadout because it is always available. Attack, Tactical and Defense weapons are more situational.

The Shelter is where you unlock discovered weapons permanently. It is also where you take part in systems like Cabin’s Stamp Club, which can reward you with weapons.

Most weapons come through normal sector progression. The four exceptions are covered in the next section.

Some guides also count special weapons beyond these 15. Game Rant, for example, lists the Lim Cannon, which is unlocked by completing all of the secret missions in the Hidden Chamber.

Which weapons are easiest to miss?

Code Generator, Hacking Mines and Drone Hive

These three come from Cabin’s Stamp Club, not from normal mission pickups. Each one needs a triple bingo on a different board:

  • Code Generator: Specialist Stamp Board
  • Hacking Mines: Director Stamp Board
  • Drone Hive: Associate Stamp Board

If you treat the Shelter as downtime between missions, these are the weapons you are most likely to miss.

Jackhammer

Jackhammer is not hidden in a sector at all. It is unlocked by completing the game, so there is no point searching for it during your first run.

Which weapons should you get first?

These are our recommendations, not hard rules. For most players, the best early priorities are:

  • Shockwave Gun, because it arrives early in Sector 1 and gives you strong burst damage.
  • Stasis Net, which also arrives in Sector 1. It helps you control fights by holding one enemy in place while you deal with another.
  • Pulse Carbine, once you reach Sector 3, if you want a second Primary option alongside the Grip Gun.

For a first playthrough, a simple and reliable setup is the Grip Gun or Pulse Carbine, the Shockwave Gun, the Stasis Net and the Decoy Generator.

That mix covers constant damage, burst damage, crowd control and a way to buy time when fights go wrong.

What has changed since launch?

Capcom has announced two updates on Steam since launch, both focused on cosmetics and fixes.

The June 19 title update added Hugh’s Scribble Suit from the Sketchbook demo. It also reduced the difficulty of Training Simulation 30, Stand or Die, and fixed text errors. If you were stuck on Stand or Die, it is worth another attempt.

On September 17, Capcom released a free Mega Man Pack DLC (downloadable content) with Mega Man-themed outfits for Hugh and Diana.

Sales and awards

The game has sold well for a new series. Capcom said sales passed two million units in 16 days. In September, it put the total at more than 2.5 million units as of June 30, 2026.

In the same announcement, Capcom said Pragmata won an Award for Excellence and the Breakthrough Award at the Japan Game Awards 2026.
