Today, EA Sports released the most recent update for Madden NFL 23, which was available for download on all supported systems. At this point in time, EA is beginning to wind down its support for the most recent chapter in the Madden series as it looks to move its focus to the imminent arrival of Madden NFL 24, which will be available later this year.
With this in mind, Season 4 of Madden 23 has now begun, and it will bring the TOTY (team of the year) players who were anticipated to Madden Ultimate Team.
The most recent update for Madden 23, which is currently available for download, was released to coincide with the start of the fourth season of the game. This latest patch mostly addresses a few nagging flaws rather than implementing a number of significant alterations to the football simulation game as a whole.

Changes to the Gameplay
- There was a bug that prevented the user-controlled Quarterback from snapping the ball after a certain ID, which caused the Mike animation to occur. This has been fixed.
- Resolved an issue in which the RPO Alert and RPO Read play when run out of specific formations, would cause the weak box logic to activate, which would then result in many pancake blocks occurring all over the field.

What was in the Madden update?
Fixed an issue that caused active kicker abilities to go inactive during the Halftime Adjustments phase of the game. On the New Item Screen, the filtering for sets has been fixed. There was a bug that caused the settings for User-Skill Based Passing to be reset whenever a MUT Squads or Co-op Game was joined. This has been fixed.
