Beast Hunter Niantic, the company that created Pokemon GO, will soon release a new game based on the Monster Hunter universe. Here is all we know about when it will be released.
A brand-new mobile action RPG game set in real life is soon to be released by Niantic for iOS and Android devices. Players of Monster Hunter Now will be able to work together with friends to defeat powerful creatures like Rathalos and Great Jagras while going for a stroll outside.
Those who have played Pokemon GO will have some idea of the kind of gameplay to be anticipated from Niantic’s future project, although there will be some obvious distinctions from that game, according to IGN.
Although in a more streamlined, mobile-friendly version, battles will be more reminiscent of Monster Hunter bouts on consoles. Battles can be played in either landscape or portrait orientation, and they can last up to 75 seconds.
Players will use taps and flicks to control their skills and weapons in battle. Although more specific information about how the game’s multiplayer will function has not yet been made public, there will also be the option to collaborate with pals or play alone.
Similar to main entry Monster Hunter games, rewards received from encounters will allow players to build and enhance their gear. In Monster Hunter Now, a Palico companion will also make a comeback.
This friend will go on adventures with the player and be able to employ the new Paintball mechanism, which lets users tag monsters in the wild and continue the fight later, perhaps when they reach home.

Monster Hunter Now Release Date
Currently scheduled for release in September 2023, Monster Hunter Now. A precise date has not yet been made public. Prior to the game’s launch later this year, prospective gamers can register to participate in closed beta tests.
The beta test will begin on April 25th, and testers who have been invited will be notified by email. Only about 10,000 people will have access to the closed beta test, according to Niantic.
