Update (October 2026): MM2 trading values change constantly, so we still do not list individual item prices. Roblox’s rules now require games to show the odds of paid random items such as mystery boxes. Below, we cover how values work, the rarity tiers and the trading rules to know before you trade.
Murder Mystery 2, or MM2, is a Roblox horror game created by Nikilis. Each server holds up to twelve players: one murderer, one sheriff and up to ten innocents.
Beyond the matches themselves, MM2 has a large trading community built around its weapons and other items.
What is an MM2 values list?
An MM2 values list is a community-made guide to what items are worth in trades. The game does not set these values.
Values rise and fall with demand, rarity and how many copies of an item exist. That is why any fixed list goes out of date quickly.
The Murder Mystery 2 Wiki’s trading page breaks an item’s value into four main parts: base value, demand, rarity and stability.
MM2 rarity tiers, from lowest to highest
Rarity is the best starting point for judging an item. According to the Murder Mystery 2 Wiki, the main weapon tiers are:

| Rarity | What it means |
|---|---|
| Common | The lowest tier, obtained from crates, trading, codes and bundles |
| Uncommon | The second-lowest tier, from crates, trading and events |
| Rare | Harder to unbox, behind only Legendary, Godly and Chroma among crate weapons |
| Legendary | The third-highest crate tier |
| Godly | Rare, iconic weapons from crates, crafting, special codes and events |
| Chroma | Rainbow-colored versions of most unboxable Godly weapons |
| Ancient | Rare weapons now obtained through event purchases or trading |
| Unique | The highest tier, mostly trophy weapons earned through achievements |
How to check current MM2 values
- Use an up-to-date community value list, and check when it was last updated.
- Compare more than one source before a big trade, because value lists often disagree.
- Remember that demand matters as much as rarity. An item can be rare but still hard to trade if few people want it.
What changed in MM2 in 2026
The Summer Event 2026 ran from July 23 to August 23. It added a new summer lobby and map, plus daily quests that reward Shells. Shells could be spent on the event’s mystery box.
Roblox’s paid random items policy covers things like mystery boxes, where you pay without knowing what you will get. It requires games to list every possible outcome and its actual odds before a player pays.
If you are deciding whether to unbox an item or trade for it, check those odds first.
The same Roblox policy also requires games to block trading of paid items for players whose accounts Roblox marks as ineligible. So not every player may be able to trade them.
How trading works, and how to stay safe
- Level limit: only players who are level 10 or higher can trade. This rule was added in December 2021 to fight item duplication, where items are illegitimately copied.
- Trade size: you can trade up to four different items at once, with multiple copies of each.
- Wait time: each time an item is added, there is a six-second wait before the trade can be accepted.
A few habits will keep your inventory safe:
- Only trade inside the game’s own trading system.
- Be wary of deals that look too good to be true, and never give your account details to anyone.
- Take your time. A rushed trade is where most mistakes happen.
