Minecraft update 1.21 is on its way, and the wait just got tougher with Mojang’s latest revelation about the Vault. This is a new piece of material that will be released with that patch. The 1.21 update will include several new components, such as an armadillo, wolf armor, palatial structures known as Trial Chambers, and the Breeze, a new and challenging enemy mob.

Vault and Trial key in Minecraft 1.21 Update
The Vault is a vault or safe that can store valuable artifacts like as gems, enchanted equipment and weapons, and enchantment books. It will be found in Minecraft’s Trial Chambers, the same as loot chests can be found in palatial structures in Minecraft.

However, there is one important distinction between vaults and chests. Unlike the chest, which anybody may open, the upcoming feature is only accessible if the player has the Trial Key.
To receive the item, a player must first locate this key and then use it to open the vault. Mojang’s preview suggests that the rewards would be randomized rather than planned.
Another feature of the Vault that distinguishes it from chests or other storage items is that it may only be accessed once per player. This will ensure that each gamer receives an item.
One of the most prevalent drawbacks of playing Minecraft multiplayer and investigating certain structures for treasure is that uncommon things cannot be shared because only one person can keep them.
However, due to the aforementioned mechanic, this will not be the case with the Vault. This is because each participant in a group will be able to obtain a rare item.
Given that beating the Breeze would be a lot easier and more enjoyable with friends, ensuring that each player receives something for their efforts makes perfect sense.
Another point to consider is the design of the Trial key and Vault. The former features a black skull-like shape and bright orange eyes. The Vault resembles spawners, but its uncommon loot item varies frequently. These designs may change before the update is released, but they are looking good thus far.
