It has been widely known for some time that Bethesda and its subsidiary studio, Alpha Dog Games, have been hard at work on a Doom-themed mobile game; today, they announced a pre-registration campaign and a worldwide release date. All the Hellish and gory features from the Doom universe are present in this Chibi-Fied rendition of the roguelike top-down shooter genre made famous by Archero a few years ago.

The Little Slayer, a collectible doll/action figure based on the most current mainline Doom games, will be your protagonist in this journey. While you will still be ripping and tearing demons and hellspawn, the world will be rendered in a bright and cartoony style. This brand-new trailer for Mighty Doom shows that the action is cute in a twisted sort of way.
Tomb Raider Reloaded, another classic Property, was Archero-Ified just last week, but while I enjoy Lara and her exploits, I’m really more of a Doom kind of man. I recently downloaded Mighty Doom from the Canadian App Store to check where it is at now, even though it has been in soft launch for a few years.
From a gameplay perspective, I have to admit that I’ve been rather attached. The future of the game’s monetization model is uncertain, but in the short time I’ve been playing, I haven’t encountered any major problems. In fact, a brand new Battle Pass system along with numerous additional unlocks and customization options have recently been added.
