Hyperkin Xbox 360-Style Controller Release Date: Experience the Past With the Future

The company Hyperkin, which creates retro-styled gaming accessories for contemporary consoles, is back at it. This time, the company decided against developing an original Xbox controller and instead developed the Xenon, an Xbox 360-style controller for the Xbox Series X|S.

The Xenon will be available on June 6, 2023, and cost USD 49.99. The controller will be available in red, pink, black, and white.

The 360-inspired controller will also have precise analog impulse triggers, a view and share button that lets you record gameplay and take screenshots, vibration feedback, a 3.5 mm headset jack, and a detachable Type-C cable that lets you charge or update the controller.

The controller, which bears the original codename assigned to the Xbox 360’s first console iteration, was unveiled in November of last year.

A tweet shared by Hyperkin is as follows:

This is not the first time Hyperkin has chosen to honor previous Xbox gaming consoles. You can buy a Duke wired controller from the company’s website, which also works with the renowned single-ear headset from the Xbox 360 era and the Xbox Series X|S.

On May 5, the Hyperkin website will accept preorders for the Xenon controller.
