If you’re searching for something to keep yourself occupied while you wait for Hogwarts Legacy, spending hours upon hours admiring this incredible Minecraft Hogwarts creation isn’t a bad alternative. After all, it was in production for a whopping six years, which is longer than Hogwarts Legacy has been in the works, so even if you aren’t a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, I’d say it’s still worth a little bit of your time to check it out.
Hogwarts Castle? Ehh, we can build that too 😜

Hogwarts Build Took 6 Years
A Reddit user by the name of ducky posted a wonderful video tour of the build on Reddit. The user also mentioned that there is still work to be done before the build is finished. Nevertheless, even in its present condition, it is truly a spectacle, complete with extremely faithful designs for both the outside and the interior.

This looks precisely like a blocky version of Hogwarts from the movies; everything from the dining hall to the Quidditch field seems pretty darn exact. As someone who has only a passing experience with Hogwarts, I can say that this looks exactly like a blocky version of the institution. I can only imagine how many hours were put into the overall project after hearing Ducky explain that they spent “hundreds of hours” just seeking a single picture or video that offered them a shot at the angle that they needed.
The world is not yet downloadable in Minecraft since ducky has stated that it does not meet all of his requirements; nevertheless, the developer has stated that he intends to make it available once it is completed. They claim that there is still “plenty of work” to be done, although it is not apparent what further needs to be added at this point. In light of the fact that candles can now be crafted in Minecraft, one of the things that they intend to do is switch out all of the torches for candles.
