Arrowhead has also worked to enhance Helldivers 2’s ‘backend connectivity’, which should result in a more smooth matchmaking experience and lower the danger of disconnecting during missions.

Over 360,000 players attempted to log in at the same time on February 8 to spread controlled democracy by calling down all sorts of powerful weaponry on the bug-like Termanid hordes and robotic Automaton armies.
This surge of interest strained the game’s online infrastructure, leaving many players upset with advancement troubles and others unable to join in at all.
Arrowhead has subsequently launched a series of “rapid fixes” to address the most common issues, albeit one of these updates had to be partially pulled back after players noticed a drop in PC performance.
The creators have subsequently apologised to impacted consumers and vowed to organise a ‘enhanced reward event’ to make up for any missed progression.
Aside from technical concerns, Helldivers 2 is a fan favourite, with many praising the game’s dynamic opponent engagements and being generally tolerant of the inevitable friendly fire occurrences that accompany high explosive orbital bombardments.
Some community members are even striving to set etiquette standards that gamers may follow to guarantee that everyone has a good time and that no one is caught in a descending Hellpod.
Helldivers 2 reached another milestone today, with over 200,000 people logging in to play on PC. Helldivers 2 is Sony’s most successful PC game to date, outperforming God of War.
