GTA Track Creation Will Be Available Online After The Next Update

GTA Track Creation: An impending update to Grand Theft Auto: Online, according to a reliable leaker within the Grand Theft Auto community, will add the ability for players to compose their own music.

FunMw2, or Tez2, recently released an article on WhatifGaming indicating that gamers of GTA Online would soon be allowed to produce their own music. After last year’s Dr. Dre DLC, might this be the next big thing?

Rockstar Games already has experience with letting players make their own music; in 2009, they launched a game on the PlayStation Portable (PSP) called Beaterator in conjunction with Timbaland. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to incorporate this into GTA Online.

Take-Two Interactive registered the domain name Rapponator.com in October 2020; Tez speculated in 2021 that it might refer to a new music mixer developed by Rockstar Games and Dr. Dre.

Tez also claimed that this concept has been percolating at Rockstar Games for some time, which wouldn’t be surprising given the company’s recent emphasis on the music industry (see: new radio stations in GTA Online, Nightclub Update, The Contract update featuring Dr.Dre, DJ Pooh, Rosalia, Eminem, and others in various capacities), as well as the launch of the company’s own record label, CircoLoco.

The source also said that Michael De Santa, the main character in the single-player campaign, would get some attention in the upcoming update.
