Regular GTA Online players will be aware that Rockstar releases a new update every week, which adds or changes stuff. Login bonuses, increased awards for specific tasks, featured races, and much more are common.
The last year has been a significant one for Rockstar Games and Grand Theft Auto, with a lot of drama and news surrounding GTA 6. The long-awaited sequel was revealed last year, but the game was apparently leaked well ahead of time. Rockstar has since confirmed the authenticity of the released clip, and the hacker has been apprehended.
We’re still waiting for more information on that front, as well as the GTA Online sequel, but in the meantime, let’s take a look at what’s new in the most recent GTA 5 update, which was released on October 19, 2023. The following are the complete patch notes.
GTA Online Weekly Update Patch Notes
New GTA Online content has been added. The GTA Online team is honoring the scary season this week with some Halloween-themed changes. And, yeah, those strange random sightings of UFOs and Phantom Cars have returned. You can also help Ghosts Exposed find some hearty souls in exchange for free money.
There are some free goodies available, as well as a slew of discounts, but we’ll get to those later.

Prize Ride Challenge Car
You can get the Dinka Vindicator as this week’s GTA Online Prize Ride car. To get it, you’ll need to finish in the top five in LS Car Meet races for two days in a row.

The Diamond Casino Lucky Wheel has the RUNE Zhaba this week as a prize. If you’re lucky, you could get it for free, or you know how to win every time.
