Last year, Grand Theft Auto 6’s media and data online was a complete leak. Reports and data within the leak indicate that the version of the game that was posted online was a very early build, most likely a pre-alpha version.
However, it is hard to know how much weight to give the leaked data because they reflect a work in progress that may undergo significant changes before its official publication.
It’s possible that various placeholders and stand-ins were used in the game’s leaked media, but this is especially true of the files, which were still very early in the production process. Despite this, GTA enthusiasts have been poring over these files for months.
A set of files that reportedly locate several cities and towns in the game have recently begun circulating. There are a total of eleven places involved, not counting any outliers.
Ambrosia, Cooperhead, Domed Hills, Ekanfinika, Hamlet, Lake Leonida, LO, Port Gellhorn, Redhill, Sundown, and Yorktown are some of the cities and settlements that make up this region.
A tweet from WWG’s official account remarked, “GTA 6 Leak Reveals 11 Cities and Towns”–

There are also rumored to be unknown exceptional destinations, such as a forest, a seaside plaza, and drag strips (where gamers will presumably go shopping). The presence of the last of them hints at the inclusion of drag racing.

Does this list include everything? We have no idea. Is that the case? We have no idea. In reality, we don’t even know if these are in the files because they’ve been removed from the Internet, so the only people who have them are the ones who downloaded them immediately after the leak went online.
Before Rockstar Games‘ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, took them down. This is all by warning that you should treat the list cautiously. We only know that Vice City, the series’ fictitious version of Miami, is where at least some of the action occurs.
As of this writing, none of the allegedly involved parties have addressed the rumors and speculation around the alleged leak. We’ll make sure to revise the piece if that ever changes.
