Epic Games has made great efforts to ensure Fortnite remains one of the most famous battle royale games. One reason for this is the introduction of novel gameplay elements that change things up, as Zero Build did for Overwatch last year.
Epic Games is reported to be at it again this year, with recent leaks suggesting the long-awaited first-person option will arrive soon. The two most well-known Fortnite data miners, ShiinaBR and HYPEX, have confirmed that first-person mode will be available to players at the start of the season.
The release date matches what was previously discovered in the files. It comes after months of leaks regarding the possibility of the mechanic around the same time dirtbikes were disclosed.

For months, players have speculated how this update could change their impressions of Fortnite by making it more like other popular battle royale games. Gamers who have preferred concepts will likely be more motivated to play because they may experience the point of view while playing as their favorite skins.
Both data miners state that this leak originates from the same source that described other recent leaks, such as the rumors of an Attack on Titan and Resident Evil crossover. While these leaks haven’t been confirmed, they carry much weight because both leakers rarely have a history of being incorrect on several things.
If confirmed, this would be a much-anticipated update to the game, arriving more than five years after its first release. If this is the case, Fortnite will gain a brand new play mode, and many people will log in just to try it.
