First Contact Entertainment, the studio that was responsible for developing Firewall Zero Hour, has released a new video for the upcoming PS VR2 game Firewall Ultra. First Contact Entertainment’s mission statement has always been to bring high-quality experiences to the realm of virtual reality, and our team has maintained a strong commitment to exploring the limits of what is currently considered feasible.
Because of this, now, after four years of providing support for Firewall Zero Hour, we are delighted to announce that we will be pushing those boundaries once again with our next live-operated first-person multiplayer shooter for PlayStation VR2, which will be called Firewall Ultra.

Firewall Series Evolution For PSVR2
The Firewall series has progressed to the next level with the release of Firewall Ultra. We are taking advantage of the additional features that the PlayStation VR2 has to offer, and we are thrilled to give you a sneak peek into how we have utilized some of those elements for the Firewall Ultra game.
The events of this game take place five years after the events of the first game, and all of your favorite contractors and locales have matured and moved on to the next generation. We have totally redesigned every character model in order to take advantage of the significantly greater degree of visual fidelity and high dynamic range that PS VR2 provides.
New locations and textures have been added to the maps, which have also undergone a comprehensive revision. In addition, there will be new locations and contractors; but, it wouldn’t be a Firewall game without the weaponry and equipment, both of which include a significantly increased degree of personalization options. These elements will also be included.
Because we have spent the last four years paying attention to the feedback of our community, we are pleased to let you know that you will be able to play Firewall Ultra on servers that are completely dedicated to the game. Additionally, we will be introducing new rounds into the game, making each match a best-of-three competition, and we will also be introducing a brand new PvE experience. In addition, after the launch, we have more contractors, maps, and weaponry planned for future updates to the game’s content.
On top of everything else, Firewall Ultra makes use of new PlayStation VR2 Sense Technology capabilities like eye tracking. This feature enables you to intuitively switch weapons and bring up HUD indicators through cameras embedded into the PS VR2 headgear. Make sure you watch our announcement trailer if you haven’t already so you can get a sneak peek at what’s in store for Firewall Ultra in the near future.
In closing, we would like to express our gratitude to each and every outstanding member of our community. From local get-togethers to competitions on an international scale, the Firewall Zero Hour community has far beyond any and all of our expectations. Many people view Firewall Zero Hour as something that transcends its status as merely a game.
It’s a location to make new acquaintances, it’s a way to escape to another planet without leaving the comfort of their own living room, and it’s a virtual get-together for their family. The majority of our players have been with us ever since we first released the game; they go out of their way to assist newcomers and produce some of the most impressive material we’ve ever seen (which we actually play in a constant loop on our lunchroom television).
It has been a joy to observe every one of you develop and progress, and we are thrilled to be able to offer you a fresh perspective with the introduction of Firewall Ultra.
